PS2

Well, normally, I'd be all praises, but My PS2 is now fucked for no reason at all.

I was playing Guitar Hero 3 yesterday and it started to spaz out on me. Like, the screen goes black and starts flickering a distorted image.

On top of it sucking, I tried to play through the pain, pausing when necessary and giving the occaisional "love tap" aka "fucking-work-you-piece-of-shit tap".

not only that, when I gave up playing and took the game out IT HAD EATEN MY FUCKING DISC!

It's a brand new game and the bottom is literally COVERED in scratches. I'm calling Sony today to complain. I'm probably fucked because I'm sure the system is out of warranty (it always is), and I'm going to have to buy a new one.

Best part is, if I have to buy a new one, I might as well get a PS3. But then, if I do that, what was the fucking point in getting it for PS2 in the first place?!

Argh, I fucking hate video game companies >:V

It's funny how liberal Tom is with the forums and shit here.

I mean, I posted about some of my problems on the Guitar Hero Forums yesterday, and they fucking censor EVERYTHING. You can't say anything. For real, the even censor out things like "piss" and "arse" and "sucks" even!

I just that it was:

a. Ridiculous
b. Hilarious
c. Stupid beyond belief.

Then I was thankful that Tom wasn't a fucktard and didn't put a word filter on.

Then again, I could see Stamper putting on a word filter that changed every other word to "cocks".

Gah, I'm so pissed off! I had an idea exactly like that several months ago which I was saving for when I had time to make it. Now everyone's going to think you guys got there first :(

Basically, I was thinking along the lines of 'Flash site tycoon'. You start off as just some free-hosted kid's thing, and grow to become a huge company. Basically, my idea was to have an alignment from good to evil, with evil being towards ad-ridden sited full of stolen content, and good being towards asking users for permission for their work, and keeping a relatively small margin between ad revenue and bandwidth and staff costs. 'Evil' would be easier to maintain, and open the doors for a load of fun, amorral business practices, whereas 'good' would improve your reputation, make it easier to get developers to work for you when moving into sponsorwhips and allow the happy ending at the end.

I had a lot of other ideas for it, but now it's just been lamed up by Luis getting there first. Thanks a lot!

Well i didnt say much because i couldnt tell if it was legit or not, back when i used to freelance i did have my phone number on my site and i did get the occasional call from random people. So in that respect, it wasnt like creeping me out and i was trying to be a good sport but at the same time i was like wondering... did i really remove my number from my contact page? i was trying to remember, maybe i had dreamt i did and really didnt..

regardless its just as akward when people used to call me legitamately to tell me they liked my movies... i mean where do you go with it conversationally?

Thank god for Britain not being tricked into celebrating this fake holiday. Its almost half past 9 here, and so far not a single batch of trick or treaters have came here. Thank god. They're really annoying, they dress up in a sheet with 2 holes in it and expect sweets for no reason.
