The Comcast Saga
So I've been sent a check for $110.00 to refund my last month for being an upset customer. Apparently my ranting and raving has paid off. I now have absolutely no connection to Comcast. Happy days are here again :).

I rarely update it because its on flash and its a lots of effort to do. I should really change it to something else, my PHP and Javascript skills needs some exercising...

And I've been meaning to update it, but my PC with flash on it has internet troubles, I'm using a spare laptop, so its being annoying.

New Icon / Tiny Updates
It appears to have changed from the Tankmen icon to the tank.sm gif, maybe it's random? Also, the 'back to Forum Listing'-link on the bottom is back, which was missing for some time, was it called that before? It also seems to mess up the lay-out somewhat.

I hate her. She is evil, stupid, smells of piss (seriously), high pitched and Scottish. Not a good mix. She doesn't know the difference between megabytes (filesize) and megabits (transfer speed). On a test question, which was 'How would a photographer capture digital images?', I put aim a digital camera at something and press the button. She gave me no marks and said the answer was connecting a camera to a computer and transferring the pictures. I asked her about it, and she kinda avoided it and said something like 'well the question meant that....".

Hot shit, I got it yesterday, and it's amazing.

The graphics, beautiful. The song list is so varied that it fits all tastes, and the gameplay is a little more refined than in 2, but just enough to make it more awesome.

Regardless, I'm having a bitch of a time trying to beat Knights of Cydonia by Muse on Hard. It's fucking crazy!

My recommendation is to pick it up for PS3, Wii, or Xbox 360, most likely for Xbox if you already have GH2, but if not, go for PS3. Compeltely worth every penny.

Initiative

So, it's my senior year of high school (Grade 12), and I really don't have any initiative/motiviation. I hate how I just don't care. Gah. And I'm only 1/4 of the way through the school year >:V

I'm curious to know if any of you peoples work out. I do, but not very often. I lift weights every day right here in my room, but I go to the gym about every month. Do you work out or are u a 17 year old masturbating in a basement?

Optimism

I run a lot, but only actually go to the gym 3 times a week. I'm to cheap to buy weights and my gym membership is covered by family. I find it a great way to have a break between school and homework/goofing off.

Work Out

We already talked about dumbbells back in August. I lift weights now and then, mostly curls.

I am going to move away from animation and go heavily into game art next year... this year was a growing pains year where i got a chance to get involved in a few projects and realize how different building art for games is... its all such fertile land for me and im intruiged at putting my animation career on pause and persuing gaming relations in an attempt at getting a chance at working with even more people i havent gotten a chance to work with.

I also plan to sprinkle the usual dose of NG related meets. im a social bug.

If you stray away from the Animation Flash Scene, don't forget about Pico Day. Seriously. You better make something for it! If not, my heart will be saddened. Okay, more on a serious note, I really want to create something big this year of 2008. Something that will get me really noticed. Yes, I have 7 awards and 44 submissions in the portal, it's just not enough. I'm not noticed. I want to get to the point where people know my name and know what I've created. It's a good feeling, I'm sure of it. Soon after it probably will get annoying but still. I want to experience that feeling. Doesn't anyone else?

In 2008, I'll most likely create a few submissions. Something for Pico Day, Another for Clock Day and Madness Day. Of course, I can't forget Luis Day. It's just hard to catch up on everything, In the beginning of the year, a little after New Years, specifically on my birthday, I may release a top secret animation. I may also start working on more solo-projects rather than these spur of the moments collabs I've been falling backwards into.

I may hold some type of collab for everyone to join in, somewhere in the near future, but not now. I have to catch up on more of my solo-work. A collab you get noticed as a whole, usually not individually. Hopefully, I'll release something good in the year 2008. Before than, I'm hoping to finish up some quick things before the New Years takes place.

Especially a Christmas Animation, Maybe a small bit for Thanksgiving, finish up the Halloween Game I have a few bugs in... And that's probably it. I want to make something good, rather than loosing inspiration so it's time to find something fun to do, rather than lip-syncing dialogue in all my damn animations. Time to make a serious-silent short.

Anyone else have any projects that they want to finish before 2008 is at it's peak?

Yeah, same here. My desktop is cluttered with text files full of great ideas for flash. I plan and think ahead but don't make much progress ever.

I'll try to get one of my music video ideas done over christmas break.
