You were 100% correct in telling him that it was terrible just you might want to sugar coat it a little. I've seen that guy from his tracing threads so by seeing his name I didn't expect much and new he didn't take criticism well.

I have IE7, Firefox 2, and Opera, but I definitely use Firefox the most. I have it customized exactly to my liking (I have the standard menu, address bar, google search, bookmarks, and webdev toolbar crammed strategically into two thin toolbars).

I agree, Halo is nothing special. For the following two weeks after the Halo 3 release, you couldn't walk down my school's halls without hearing "halo" at least twice.

Other than that, I'm a hardcore PC gamer and FPS junkie. Crysis demo came out yesterday -- I can't believe it actually runs on this rig (20-25 FPS at low settings, which still looks AMAZING, more than playable). It's completely awesome and I must buy it. Way too many wicked shooters coming out next month, though: Gears of War (PC), Crysis, and Unreal Tournament 3. Also going to BaseLAN (one of the largest LAN parties in Canada) in two weeks. Looks like November is draining my finances.

Ahh, the last Two-Hour Time Trial.

Unfortunately, this is the third and concluding time trial, I'll be releasing/and(or) hosting on Newgrounds.com. The reason being I don't want the idea to get old and worn out fast, so I might as well end it in a nice Holiday edition.,
The speculations of this collab are simple. A few artists are given a TWO-HOUR time limit to complete an animation based on the them given. Today was the theme of "Halloween." And this was the outcome.

Same here. That game had so much graphical grunt for the PS2...it was just eyeball-meltingly-cool.

It's pretty cool. I edit videos so quick look is damn amazing because I don't have to open all the files, I can just watch them in finder. It really saves lots of time.

Time Machine is hot.

Spaces are boring.

The dock looks nice. iChat is less annoying, it got some much needed basic features like multiple logins at once and tabbed chats. The effects are lots of fun. My friends get a kick out it.

Shooters

I've owned and played a wide range of shooters, including all the ones named.

Red Faction was awesome cause you can shoot through walls and stuff and I just enjoyed it.

Killzone still hasn't grown on me but I'm sure that it's not a bad game.

Halo is probably my favourite shooting game, not only cause of the story and what not but how good the multiplayer is. Now that you can record videos, owning your friends is a lot more sweeter. I'm sure that not all may like the story, but they do probably like the multiplayer, it's just a lot of fun.

Gears of War is fun and the multiplayer isn't that much fun as some shooters but its still worth playing. I think that the story is cool but it's not really original. The only thing I have against Gears of War is that people say its graphically amazing, now don't get me wrong but it's well done but they hide all the not so great graphics in the dark. I think that if you were to light up the whole place , it wouldn't look as great as everyone would think it does.

In my opinion, shooters are just like every other game genre, there are some games that you hate and there are some that you love. Just because someone hates a game doesn't mean I'm going to. There are many good ones and many ones that made you wish that you never played them.

Also Goldeneye for the N64 is still a great game. The guns and the levels and the secrets and everything, also I really enjoyed Perfect Dark for the N64, but it's probably still in the shadows of Goldeneye.

Adam Phillip's and Waterlollies

I don't know if any of you have heard this but straight from Adam's mouth (Refering to the release time):

Now, it won't be released on Newgrounds at this time specifically but it will be released on at least Adam's Website. This time isn't set in stone either but it is what Adam is hoping for.

I'm not sure if anything else is very excited about this but Waterlollies is promised to be the most graphically beautiful and creatively ingenious Flash animation of this time. I have no doubt that Waterlollies will completely smash the bar for Flash animators around the world.

I can't wait.

Sounds good.. I'll check it out, just to see it's visual glory. I'm not a fan of his work because i prefer story/concept based movies or movies with a unique vision to them, but I don't think anyone can do anything else but being completely in awe when seeing his animation skills.

Shooters-Crysis

i just downloaded the crysis demo, and i've got to say, it's not that great. The missions get repetative (move from a>b whilst killing people) and some of the graphics aren't 'next-gen'. However, the physics are pretty great, i love shooting down trees in the forests, i managed to break a tree down in front of an oncomming car, so it flipped over and exploded :).

Anyway, i love fps move than any genre really, especially Half Life 2+GMod. Brilliant games and well worth the few quid they cost.

Can't wait to see another Adam Phillip's masterpiece. Looks like he's going to raise the bar yet again for Flash artists. Hopefully I can unhinge my jaw from this delectable toffee in time to let it drop when Waterlollies is released.

Can you really judge it yet? It's only about an hour long.
Plus, it can be played in so many different ways.

I really can't describe the amusement I find in killing somebody by throwing his comrade at him.

The game runs surprisingly well on my rig (details in my signature) at medium settings and 800x600 resolution. The demo is quite open for you to approach objectives however you see fit. Not much weapon variety yet, but the customization lets you mix it up a little bit. The nanosuit powers are all very useful (except for Speed, it drains your energy too quickly to be good for much).

The whole thing is very fun and feels like a solid game. It's a demo, you have nothing to lose. :)

Now it's really stuck in my head. I mean it's serious genious. I sat there for the whole 1:00+. It was absolutely cockalicious like the title says I mean "I'm going to the PARK today!". I do. I know it's alot of effort for you, but just do it. Not just for the reason you posted by the way, but if somebody is asking a question that is missed until say the next page, it can then get confusing seeing a reply without 'RE'. Out of interest, do you read every post made in here?
