..::Newgrounds wannabe's::..

We've had the same header with buttons for quite awhile; long before the redesign got done. And it wasn't much different before they changed it. That site is just a cheap knock-off, not quite at the rip off levels of Lord Bling, but still icky. People should search it for their .swf's.

Eh, i've seen too many sites with the layout stolen from NG. Most of them get removed in time.

Well I don't like this tidbit in their privacy policy.

"For a number of games, the so-called deep linking technique is used. Here, we set up a link to the Internet address where the original games code is situated and the games code (FLASH or SHOCKWAVE) is NOT copied to the myfreegamespot.com server. We are aware of the fact that deep linking is a subject of discussion, however, there is no information known to us to indicate that this is illegal (see articles on (deep)linking). We are also backed in this belief by the fact that this technique is applied by many other Internet sites."

I'm thinking of emailing them telling them that that's worse than hosting the file.

Toronto actually has a lot of things to do up there without the expense of NYC, and although Philly would be cool to be so close to Tom, I'm not really sure theres loads to do.

Oh god, I wasn't saying do NY or Philly instead of Torronto. I was just saying we should do one. It's just I can attest for most of the people on the east coast or in this country, Philly and NY are like, central areas on the east side (well, NY is a bit of a stretch). Regardless, a good number of people would attend.

But, Luis also brought up the good point about having a Philly meet up; We'd all want to go see Tom, and as much as Tom wants to say hi, he would be a bit paranoid about meeting everyone.

Then I suggested that we make a scavenger hunt of sorts for the office :D

So, whether it's in the cards for this year or not, a Philly meet up would be swank (for us non-modmeeters >:C)

p.s. Luis likes cockney. Guess why :3

RE: Newgrounds Carbon-Copies

Hm, some sites seem to rip off of one another, down the lines of website designs. It usually happens sooner or later. Some are noticable, some are done on purpose, and some are just coincidentally done. But that site seems to be an exact copy.

I think Newgrounds designed those header buttons before that site. It's been in the works for quite a while. I don't quite think , Newgrounds would go as low as stealing some site's shit like that..

There were many sites that were similar to Newgrounds. Zellomesh seems like it's a mirrored-version of Newgrounds. It's just the portal for that site is very similar to the new Redesign's portal. In the beginning, that site had the mirrored version of NG's portal, now that the redesign came, it looks kinda the same.

It's hard to get originality these days, since all the sites seem to take all the work and glory. Sometimes you could think of something out of the clear blue, but soon after, you realize someone already nabbed the idea before you even thought of it.

I guess we're only humans with certain minds and ideas. Some people think alike, some people just steal. That site seems to have stolen it though. This site redesign has been in the works for ages. That site is just way to similar. WAY, too alike like Newgrounds. Everything is around the same color pattern. Maybe they just are an NG-Fan that thought it'd be a cool idea to steal a few things from the site.

I don't know, but whatever. Who cares.

Ya, Toronto's a good choice. I live 1 hour away but I probibly wouldn't be allowed to go. You should go early in the morning because there's tons of traffic from 8:00am to 6:00pm because of work hours, you may think I sound crazy but 6:00am is a good idea (anyone who lives nearby would know what I'm talking about). There's Lazer Quest, a science center, sky dome (baseball arena), and the C.N. Tower (tallest tower in the world), I probably forgot some stuff but you get the idea. It's not too expensive and the subway system is really cool!

If there was a Toronto meet in like a year or so, id probably come cause i'm only about a half hour drive or so. Great city. But the thing is, I would need to wait a year or two, at the youngest I'd probably come is 15, and I JUST turned 14. But I don't think they'll be another meet for a bit anyways.

Wow that probably sounded super gay

Toronto sounds like a cool city, I've only been to whistler and Jasper B.C in terms of Canda, You'd be correct we now need a passport if you're a non border state, They're not that hard to get though if you give it plenty of time... It's like 120 bucks though.

Check out the movements of the aura in the episodes. It's not that hard. Just draw a spikey looking flame behind the character, and make it move a bit. Like the sprite below:

How did the sun almost kill you, was it hot?

Because it was 90 in Auto shop and I was wearing heavy protective Coveralls and working with a welding torch, so don't complain about heat if that's what your getting at.

Meet-Up

I'm a 4 hour drive from Toronto, so I'd definitely make it out there if possible. Once the date's set in stone I'll see what I can do.

Evil Sun?

To reiterate what Cheek asked, how was the sun evil? I kind of like it. Maybe it's all of those pickles you've been eating...perhaps soon, you yourself will be, in fact, pickled if you stay outside too long. I'd watch out if I were you.

I like the sun, but it really annoys me. If it were light without it, then I'd be good. It's light is kinda uneven and it's bad for my OCD.

Just kidding, but I really don't like when it glares.

Too Many Pickles.
Pickles are good for you, but if you eat too many it may have very unpleasing physical affects. If you eat more than two pickles a day, your hair begins to fall out. Eventually you will become bald and no one will talk to you anymore. I find that hard to believe but in the last week their has been more hair on my brush.... And I am finding it harder to stomack pickles. Honestly I've drankin' water and milk but all I'ver aten for 2 weeks now is pickles. No meat or anything like that. So I am so not healthy right now...... I should go over to a friends house and mooch some food. Either that or steal a bunch of free samples from the local grocery store.

Sun Evil!
I can explain how the sun is evil quite simply: The Sun causes heat which causes me to sweat, which makes my glasses (YES I ADMIT IT! I NEED TO WEAR FREAKIN' EMO GLASSES!) continueing.... My glasses fog up and won't clear up and I'm too tired to wipe them so I leave it and eventually I walk into to random things such as posts, old women, cars, etc. and because the sun is at the heat of this evil scheme (get it? "heat"? lol lame joke) I declare the sun as evil.

Meet-Ups!

Their's a hall able to rent near here and a nice hotel. If I was ever bored and rented the hall I could probably set it up to have a meet-up here. But I'm a poor bastard that lives in a crap shack and eats pickles all day so I can't see me with the money for it anytime soon.

IMPORTANT PICKLE NOTE!
If any of you know anything about pickling cucumbers and crap you'd know that you have to wait a minimun of 6 weeks before they are actually pickled. So I pickled them all on what the 3rd? 4th? of this month...? Anyway right now all I've been eating is pretty much cucumbers souked in vinager with hot peppers and onions in it. SO pretty much I've been eating pretty nasty tasting shit. However I've grown to like the taste.

:Currently on jar 11 out of 32
:Still have 32 jars of beans though!!!

FUKKEN SUN >:V

I walked home in the rain today and then played an hour and a half of Guilty Gear X with my best friend.

My only response to your dilemma is to suck it up. I'm a fat kid with long hair. I bake like a piggy in the sun.

As far as the glasses thing goes, get lighter(weight wise) frames or get contacts. I would suggest the contacts. They're the shit. I've had them for about 5-6 years.

4chan and such

What is everyone else's opinions on said boards?

I don't know what it is, but recently I've found myself being drawn to the oddities that /b/ and such have to offer on 4chan, as well as stealing a few Flash movies from their /f/ section(which has some flashes from NG :O)

It makes me feel relaxed while I rot my mind on retarded shit. Their memes are like a laxative for my mind; anything productive is fucking gone. It feels much nicer than my normal rush of thoughts of life, sex, and philosophy.

Fucking with other People's shit

Some person wrote a review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows and saved it on the OPEN NETWORK at school. Normally, if you save to your folder, nobody but you can open it. But no, this fucktard was begging me, "Jeremy, please, rape my shit with your linguistic cock of solitude."

I promptly opened the file and proceded to change every instance of "Harry Potter" to "Hairy Penis". The title became "Hairy Penis and the Gaping Vaginas". Here is my version of the review:

Hairy Penis and the Gaping Vaginas Book Review

Hairy Penis and the Gaping Vaginas, the seventh installment of the Hairy Penis series by J.K. Boner, was released on July 21st, 2007 in the US, Great Britain, and other English-speaking countries. It is currently available in hard-on only.

Boner recently appeared on talk shows, speaking of her book. At one point, before the release of the book, she admitted that she "left the ending open so it could be continued." Therefore, many thought she might continue. However, she recently confirmed that she does not intend to continue the series. Many Hairy Penis fans are disappointed that this book really means saying good-bye to Hairy and his fuck buddies. However, most fans believe this book was more than fair to Hairy, and they jerked off to it until their hands were chaffed raw.

At the start of Gaping Vaginas, Harry and his friends Raunchy and Hermaphrodite, had dropped out of Hugetits School of Sexcraft and Bestiallity to continue their search for Whorecrutches, begun the previous year by late Hugetits Headmonger, Albusty Dumpybum. Stored in each of the seven Whorecrutches was one part of Lord Peniswrinkles's soul. In order to completely kill Peniswrinkle, it was vital that each Whorecrutch was destroyed.

The book's climax, when almost everyone blows their load, displays that the common theme in books and movies of man taking the woman buy the hand and fucking the shit out of her anus. However, questions echo everywhere: Do Hairy and his supporters have a grand victory? Does Team Peniswrinkle win (All your base are belong to Peniswrinkle) ? Or does Hairy's side win, yet at a horrible cost (i.e. Erectile Dysfunction for life or The Clap)?

As J.K. Boner mentioned before the book's release, multiple will orgasms occur and shocking secrets about a few Hugetit's sex ninjas and headmongers are revealed. But to discover and fully understand the ending, it is necessary to read the entire book while jerkin' your gherkin.

If this is really good-bye, readers will miss Boner's magical cunt and its familiar taste. However, this book was a slutty ending to the Hairy Penis series.

TEH EDN

So, after all my work, I was feeling generous, so I didn't save over their shit. What do you think, was I merciful, or should I really have been a smug asshole and rubbed some cock in the face?

I ain't a big fan of pizza. For some reason I've never been able to find a kind I like.
But I'll never forget those good ol' days freakin' out the deleviery boy. Just ask him if he could come down to your basement with you, give 'em good eyein', a lil' smirk, and bit your lip a lil'. Ahh, watching 16-19 year olds run to their car fleeing for their virginity.... Priceless.

As for homework. I never do any homework therefore I don't ever have any! Errr, but it`s my grad year or suppost to be... If I fail anymore my sis`ll stab me. :(
