Just reviewed it. It's very nice, and quite challenging, which is a plus.

School

No school this year. I'm taking a year off to build up a portfolio of stuff and to practice, and then am going to apply to some places next spring, and hopefully get accepted to one of them.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I was considering taking a break after high school and living in another country for year before going to college. I know some people who did it and it sounds like a good experience.

Check this out... Three Legged Legs is the studio behind those new Amp energy drink commercials. Here is a link to the finished piece:

Click the link to the case study and prepare to be blown away.

Now THAT is quality animation. No 3d software used... imagine that. The "Layouts" amazed me the most, how the artists captured multiple angles in single layouts so that when animated it looks like a camera movement.
Pretty inspiring if you ask me.

More awesome DVDs

Well, DVDs and shirts seem to be all I'm wasting my online money on these days, instead of saving it for uni like would probably be sensible :S So, guess which four awesome films I just got! A quid to whoever gets one right first :P

Nyah, It's okay. I'm sure that someone like ZombiePimp could probably do something like that. Perhaps Flecko-Gold and The-Swain even. We do have a lot of talented people here.

Haha yeah same here. Gotta read The Fountainhead and do some math packet... I'll probably do the math packet the morning of the first day haha.

I have a shitload to do for AP Stat. Like they literally handed me a manilla folder and a list and said go. Also, Ayn Rand is a pretty good writer, I enjoyed The Fountainhead. If you like that, read Atlas Shrugged. I have to read Grendel, but I already read Ishmael and Siddhartha, so I'm just gonna review those two.

:Sounds like you have a good schedule. I have a pretty good one too, but damn, you have 11 periods?!? or are the classes not in the same semester? My sched:

Hon English 4, AP Art History, Spanish 5, AP Studio Art, AP Calc AB, Lunch, Advanced Photography, Gym

Math might be a little hard but everything else should be a breeze... i hope. Anyway it's senior year so I'm looking forward to just finish applying to schools and relaxing. That reminds me, I gotta get those recommendations :\

I'm gonna get boned on math. I actually got pushed into it. Regardless, you have a decent schedule too.

As far as how my school works, we have 12 periods, but really 9 because a few of them combine (ex. 4/5, 6/7, 8/9), but we switch classes halfway through the year on our electives that only last 2 marking periods. I'm also trying to see if I can squeeze in German II, but I don't actually have enough time in my day >.<

Nice, but I preferred to play them on the SNES. I'm just more partial to the controller feel.

ironic that all my emulators are with my keyboard XD

TV Shows

I've been going on a real big anime kick lately. If I get lucky, I might turn on some VH1 or MTV in the BG when they actually have music playing. I try to watch 2 And A Half Men. As far as anime goes, I've watched Burst Angel, Eureka Seven, Naruto, FLCL, Chobits, DearS, Death Note, Tenjou Tenge, Today In Class 5-2, Rozen Maiden, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Overdrive, Golden Boy, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Air Gear, and some Miyazaki films. Most of the time, I just watch the anime on http://www.tv-links.co.uk.

Ah... you smell that? That's the sweet smell of virgin pussy... I mean, senior year. God I just want to go to college. I mean, woo hoo, seniors and all that jazz, but fuck high school. So, I got my schedule earlier this week, and I'm satisfied. It should be cake.

Graphic Design I, Graphic Design II, Web Design I, Web Design II, Spanish IV, English, Gym, Psychology, Physics, AP Stat, and then a study hall.

I have about a week and a half left and I haven't done any summer work yet :P

For a second I thought you were in college. Holy shit that would be a lot of credits. Wish my highschool had some decent design classes. Ours were total shit with the bitch who didn't know her ass from a floppy drive. Anywho, good luck. I'm at my digital imaging class now and very happy about it.

I don't really watch TV that much, but when I do, it's usually catching reruns of Doctor Who and House. I never stumble into anything good on TV (the sheer quantity of reality TV shows on nowadays are annoying), so all I do is watch those shows. :P

The first three of those are pretty good. Pans Labryinth wasn't great if that's what you were talking about. I saw part of it and it's just a little bit too fucked up for me.

i was talking to this new kid at school and another friend, and we started talking about the simpsons movie which everyone loved over here. i asked the kid, do you like the simpsons? and he said what? no they suck! and my friend and i were like O__O i know people have different tastes but everyone apreciates the simpsons in some minimal way, no one would never say they suck...

anyways he didnt like the simpsons at all, then i asked if he liked futurama and i was expecting the same answer, i was right, he hated it too. then i asked for the one and only anime that has been in every person's childhood in the 90s. Dragon Ball Z. and then he said no i hate DBZ i also hate all anime. and yeah i dont like anime much either but DBZ was the exeption :) then i was like what the fuck does this kid like!?

well, at the end i had fun telling everyone "hey you know the simpsons right?" and getting answers like "of course" "i love em" "i watch em everyday" etc etc. after getting the answers i went to say "dude, this kid hates the simpsons" and everyone was like "really?" "how can you?" "youre crazy"

he wasnt offended at all, i think he liked all the atention he received : P

TV Shows

I am somewhat sad that I haven't read a single Prison Break on anyone's list yet (unless I missed one). I watch that, Lost, House, Heroes, and 24 pretty much religiously, never missing an episode. Most days/weeks I watch The Daily Show/The Colbert Report, Miami Ink, Chappelle's Show, and Mythbusters. That's about it for my TV activity.

The only show I really watch is Futurama.. which is why I already pre-ordered the new DVD that's coming out in November. I can't wait! :D I own all the DVDs that are out already and have seen every episode at least 10 times. I can pretty much recite the episode as its playing. And I still watch it on adult swim every night and it's still hilarious.

Other than that I watch Miami Ink occasionally.

I've not seen Scarface, but it's one of those films that everyone apparetntly buys sooner of later. Like Titanic. Or the Blues Brothers. Spirited Away and Hot Fuzz are just plain fantastic purchases.

And no, I meant Labyrinth. What's better than Bowie and Muppets together? Nothing. Not even Dark Crystal. Although I've yet to see Pan's Labyrinth to see if that's worth the hype. My friends said it was pretty good. But then agauin, I've got friends into the wierdest stuff...
