thanks I like the good criticism.
Oh and about Thwomps I dunno. To me, no matter how good the sprite movie, it's still a sprite movie. But at least he didn't just rip them all.

Not going to lie haven't watched it, while I'm against most sprite movies, if something is using custom sprites. that are in general mostly original I'm completely in support, it's another form of art. So if there comes a sprite movie that is made that way, I'll be amazed and they will get my 5.
Sports
Soccer and Snowboarding are the only two I'm good at...
I'm decent at basketball, but not varsity freshman/sophomore good... and I don't find it that much fun except in pickup games.
Not to be a total Dick but
Anyone notice this guy, I thought people were better about spam in general in the flash forum (in comparison to general of course) but wow, impressive how can you be unhelpful, uninsightful and completely spam in 98% of your posts.
That's impressive...

I always sucked at sports, it lowered my sepf steem when i was a child.. only one i liked to play was footbase XD..and i dont think it is considered a sport..I guess i would have been great at biking if when i was like 7 fell of and smashed my face into the ground..and was traumatized until i was 11 or something.. in middle school i learned how to use my non-sport-skills for fun.. now i do softball but only because it is obligatory to have a sport.. and we are all dreadful at it.. i like to laugh at myself :P
I find watching sports on tv extremly boring.. i also hate sporting videogames.. In the end I have done alot of sports.. I think the best ofr me have been karte and softball.. but the dojo smelled like feet >:/ an di never took the exams...

I love sports... I love most things about it. I usually take any opportunity to play with my mates because when you play it gets you away from everything else in your life and you worry about nothing else except for having fun, hanging out with friends and the challenging the opposition. Keeps you fit, gets you away from the computer, and school or uni work. Yeah you get pretty sweaty and feel like shit after it, but you go home, have a nice hot shower and you're all refreshed again.
I am pretty athletic and i have been for my whole life, and sports are one of my passions. I used to play rugby league (NRL) but I'm a little small for that game.
I'm not that fond of individual sports such as running and swimming and stuff like that because it's just not the same when your with your friends. I'm a pretty good long distance runner, got some pretty cool medals ands stuff for it. I rarely trained for cross-country because I hated going out for runs by myself, incredibly boring. Because of this i never continued it after school.
Now that schools finished, soccer is one of the main events that brings all my old friends together so we can also catch up and everything.
I could go so far as to say sports are more fun than Flash :O
Yeah I said it...
I just got back from playing this arvo, unfortunately injuring my ankle, could be broken, I don't know. We also lost, but I really don't care, because i had fun for the few minutes I was actually on before some random jumped on my fucking ankle! >:(
What's more fun than chasing a ball around a paddock! . ..
My two cents anyway.

Why the hell was I not informed of this before? :P Anyway, awesome trick, and just in the niuck of time too. It should be pretty good for help and dialogue boxes.

× Years ago i used to play football, but got bored of it, although to this day i still love kicking ball around when with friends, but not to make a proper match out of it or anything.
× I started skiing when i was 4, stopped when i was 10 and started snowboarding, and snowboard still to this day, absolutely love it.

It was a nice sprite movie, probably the best on newgrounds to date. I feel sorry for the guy that made it tho, I mean he must have spent ages working on it, but he can't really say it's all his work as all the artwork is owned by Nintendo. Still, I 5d it.
Sports
I don't have a 'favourite' sport. I have had quite a few (skateboarding, swimming, basketball, karate, Climbing...) but none of them really catch me now, apart from climbing. I love climbing trees and stuff :)
Travelling
I don't go that many places, but I've been to: France, Wales, Scotland, Italy and America.

I've tried about every sport imaginable. I'm just not really a sports guy, especially teamsports. I'm thinking of doing some fitness when the summer is over.
Music
I've had keyboard lessons for 11 years, and have been playing it for about 12 years now. I also play electric guitar for a couple of months. I wish I had picked up guitar lessons instead of keyboard lessons when I was 7, I could've been the next Jimi Hendrix by now...
Travels
I've been to France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia (for 6 months) and New Zealand. Best country so far is New Zealand, because it is simply gorgeous. I would love to go to the north east of the United States and the east of Canada sometime, or maybe New York for a week. Although I'm not really a city person I wouldn't mind walking around in such a big city for a couple of days.

I don't play sports regularly, but if I'm out with my friends and someone has a football (English!) and they start playing, I'll join. Also, we usually play some kind of chasing/catching game when we're at the yoof club on friday nights. Games like that never get old when there are hundreds of places to hide and loads of space to run :)
I also like paintball, but it's too expensive to do it more than once or twice a year.
Holiday places
Bali - this is the earliest holiday I can remember, I must have been about 8. We stayed at a 4-seasons-resort for almost free because my aunt worked and lived in it. It was very tropical, and I don't remember it being so hot that it was unbearable to be outside for more than a few minutes. I can't remember much outside of the resort, except for the elephant tour/ride we went on where my sister's and my dad's elephant decided to go on a rampage.
Florida (Orlando) - About 5 years ago when I was 11. We went to all the Disney parks of course, and all the other ones in that area, i.e Seaworld, Universal, Busch Gardens, etc. Most of the disney parks were shite, it was the other ones that were great.
Spain - I've been all around Spain on various holidays, we go there pretty much every year for a week or two if we don't go anywhere else. There are some decent water parks near Magalluf (What kind of place is that to take a 14-year-old to?!). The weather is nice most of the time, and there's a very good atmosphere around some of the outdoor bars/restaurants.
Cruise - a few years back I went on a cruise around southern Europe - Italy, France, Spain, that general area. It was fun being in a completely new location each day and seeing how all the cultures were different, and all the history. The boat itself was rather cool too, they employed people just to hand you towels and bring you ice.
Tunisia (north Africa) - this one was kind of boring. Weather was good until the hurricane hit, but it was only a mild one. We went on a cross-country quadbike tour, which was kind of fun, not much to see other than piles of dumped crap and disease-ridden locals.
These are the only ones I remember. I've also lived in Australia and Spain, but I was much too young to really remember them.

Re: Holidays
I have been to:
New York - My Grandma lives there and I really like Manhattan. Good times are had in NY.
Morocco - Was crazy. I didn't venture out of the resort 'cause people kept trying to sell me stuff.
Aberdeen - A completely gray city. One street with good night-life but otherwise dead.
Paris - Fantastic city. Well worth a visit. Immigrants try and sell you things near the touristy parts, so jusy walk around a soak in the Parisian vibes.
Pretty much every major city (and a few unknown towns and villages) in Germany - Dull and boring. The only saving grace of Germany is the abundance of H&Ms selling cheap goods.
Portugal - Stayed near the coast but just hung out by the pool. Was good fun due to the 100% English community I was staying in.
Can't think of anywhere else really...I'm not big on holidays.

Swimming, Tennis and Football (Soccer). Yay!

Sports
Use to do olympic wrestling but quit to do full-time backyard wrestling (performing wrestling pretty much). Still practice with friends now and then. I play a lil' football with the guys too along with mini-golf.
Sprite Movies
I'm a hater but I don't go around voting 0 on them all. I just ignore them. I think poeple that use sprites are just too lazy to draw or think they have no talent. Either that or they're just jumping on the sprite band-wagon.
Sleep
On a random note I finally slept for the first time in 3 days. When I'm workin' on a flash of mine I tend to get maybe 3-5 hours of sleep or no sleep at all. Most thanks to the acursed lip sync. However I am happy. Thanks to all those hours in flash my art has improved. I never pictured myself as a mouse artist but I'm leaning towards it now. :P

Travel
I've only been traveling in the US for the most part, been to most of the east coast a sprinkle of the midwest, and a few places on the west coast.
North Carolina - boring beach scene
Philadelphia - shitty drinking regulations, cool mod meats
New Jersey - dirty and ghetto. Atlantic city is fine if you like to gamble. Beach is dirty tho
New York - love city life.
Connecticut - Too white for me. Not much going on
Ohio - Even less going on here. Afro-Ninja is there tho!
Florida - Tampa has some shady titty bars but its cool, orlando is fine, miami is good, sarasota is
boring.
Georgia - Atlanta is alright, i found it very run down, i like how black people there talk tho. Theres a good pizza place in this graffiti heavy area i think Gi-Go could tell you.
Puerto Rico - Nice vibe, dollars work fine and they have a great little island you can take a boat to with water that glows in the dark.
Dominican Republic - It was fine, the beaches are nice.. not much to do other than that
Wisconsin - I actually like going there, its a good change of pace from city life. Milwaukee is more city like than Green bay is. McDonalds in GB are green and yellow as opposed to the usual red and yellow
Mexico - kind of dirty. The dollar is pretty powerful though. Still though it wasnt all that.
Nevada - Las vegas is worth it.
California - San Diego has the best consistent weather, i didnt care too much for los angeles, and san francisco was pretty nice.
Canada - Montreal was cool but too french. Poutine tastes like dog food. I guess if i go back id goto the non french side.
==================================
Havent been to Louisiana yet but i love southern food.

I finally hit 500 posts!
I seriously don't know how you guys get so many posts. I'm pretty active on this site and the BBS, but my count seems to increase very slowly. I think it may be because I usually only post when I feel I really have something to add or share to the thread....sort of.
What's the secret!?

Yeah I definitely don't post for my postcount, as you can see by my 0.7 per day. Maybe I should just start to share my thoughts more often. :/

I've been there. I held off because I'd heard of the addiction factor, and didn't want it to screw with my grades. But of course, I got it the week of finals, so it may have anyways. I find it useful, kind of like an online answering machine for when your friends are away.

Intersting controls, but too impractical at the moment. It's hard to avoid the comets because it takes so long to change directions.
