I really honestly don't think there is one. I think it eventually just adds up all in the end. I'll get 1,000,000 posts sooner or later in this life time or the next. ;)

RE: Flash Crashing?!

I usually hate when the Flash Player crashes, when I'm exporting or previewing a Flash Video. Sometimes it goes, "error, scene 1, layer 5, frame 3 - action script" randomly, when I probably don't even have actionscript on that layer. Oh well. Flash is silly sometimes.

RE: Thoughts on Flash Opening

When I opened Flash, I thought random things. The first thing that came to mind is, "how the hell do I work this thing?" Than after that thought, I tried to test out all the nice little tools that I probably wouldn't use half of. :) It's confusing like the first day or two, than you get ahold of the whole feel of Flash, and how to work it.

Bad Cops?

Eh, I'm not that big with the cops. I've been cursed at, almost arrested, and yelled at continuesly by Cops. I'm not that much on the liking side of the Fuzz. Even though, I like that the help the harmless, but what happens when ..they hurt the defenseless?

In the video above, a cop randomly chokeholds a 13 year old girl, and arrests several people for riding their skateboards on the sidewalk. He declares they were "breaking the law and what not."

"Those kids were violating a city ordinance and should have been ticketed, NOT arrested and certainly not headlocked and manhandled. Once they ran, they WERE resisting arrest, but that STILL doesn't mean the cop had to headlock little kids, especially that little girl. All he had to do was grab their shirt, they were clearly no threat to anyone. Look up the definition of excessive force if you are still confused."

I don't quite think some cops are fair at some points. There are people getting harmed everyday, people stealing, and shooting people yet cops like this get the harmless ones that are only skateboarding on "Go Skateboarding Day!" All I have to say is those kids better get a good lawyer. This could be a good case.

Talking of opening flash, I have a confession, I dont know how to use the pen tool.

I mean, what kind of use could you have for a line that comes from both directions then stays there all wierd... wtf!

But seriously that's just plain stupid, if I were one of those skaters I'd knock the stupid pig out...and then I'd probably run away to avoid being arrested...

Yeah those kids should get lawyers, that'd be a fun case to watch :D

Max Post Count

Post counts here are insane. A forum I used to go to that opened in 02 has a user with a post count of 30k, but 40k is unbelievable. They would have to be registered for years, and still spam every now and then.

First flash impressions

When I first opened flash, I had been using KoolMoves before I got it, so it was weird. All the buttons and gadgets made me think that it was going to be like hell trying to use it.

Flash Crash

Well, what is the explosion function like? I'm not sure, but flash doesn't need a never ending loop to notice the player may crash the computer. If it's taking up too many resources, that may be a problem.

Then again, I'm not sure of anything >.>

Crushy3, these kids refused to obey the law whilst skating in a prohibited area, they brought the entire thing on themselves.

the kids screwed up.
the cop's doing his job, and they are TRYING to make it difficult for the guy.

I suggest you take a better look at who keeps you safe.

I guess next time somebody misses a bit with their drink can, everyone will be a lot happier to be kept safe by some police officer who smashes their head in against a wall and carts them off in a police car. Actually, sod it, maybe the police should be allowed to just shoot people on the spot. That'd certainly keep everyone safe from drive-by skateboard shootings.

Flash Crashes

Funny to see talking about that when I just came on because some crappy thing I was working on crashed because I didnt finish writing my code and tested and a while loop caused it to crash. Also I've had issues with recursion when doing stuff with functions, I dont know much about that stuff and it pissed me off because it was the one thing stopping me with this game I was making once.

First Impressions
When I first got flash I'm proud to say I went straight to the help section. This was with flash 5 and back then they had these lesson things so I learnt how to do the basics using those. Do the newer flashes have anything like that?

Bad cops
The worst thing in that video was when one of the guys say
"You were strangling a 13 year old girl" and the cop replies
"well thats what you get when you break the law"

The kids were hardly perfect though. They could have stayed where they were and avoided any problems

Re: Bad Cops

That video wasn't particularly shocking. The fact is that they had resisted arrest; shouting etc at the cop. The picture of the cop choking him was probably taken out of context. Either way, one can't use this as an example which proves all American law enforcers (I hate saying cops) are dirt. If the kids had just quietly agreed to do whatever, I'm sure there wouldn't be any "shocking" video evidence.

He repidetly stole Flash and made lots of useless collabs (I think :P)
He also claimed his flash was awsome which it wasn't ..

One question from me, why do some people hate matt 2k7? I was in a collab with him but it was locked because jm said he lied about having permission from a mod to start the collab. He also claims to have also built stickpage.com, is that true?

matt2k7 is another godsondagger, steals flashes, makes crappy flashes, useless collabs, etc

oh, but he seemed like a nice guy although the stick collab sounded useless we had some good animators in it. Then when were already on the forth page jmtb02 decides to lock it.
