Not only does my flash not work during a scan, but nothing else does either. My computer sounds like the washing machine it is and the lag is unbearable.

In all honesty i cant see the point of it, yeah it was fun today but usually they get like 1 listener and even when a dj is on they only get a couple.

pc quality

my pc was £500 or somthgin when my bro got it a few years back..

its pish now.. the side of it was lost ages ago.. we can see inside the pc :P

My laptop is good, but not great. I bought it off of a friend for $400 and a motorbike. It's worked well for me over the past two years since I've had it. Recently I had the cd/dvd drive replaced (wouldn't play cd's only dvd's) had a gig of ram installed (total RAM now is 1.5 gigs) and got an external hard drive to back up all my important documents and then some (500 gigabytes) so I feel pretty set up now and Photoshop won't be such a laggy bitch.

Before that I had a desktop pc that was made out of cannabalized bits of the old and outdated computers from around Stanford university. It wasn't great either but it could do Flash and Warcraft III although it tended to overheat during the summer.

My dad got my pc 9 years ago... O.o

But i recently updated some stuff inside i and I can now run flash and photoshop AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!!!!!11 ZOMFG

Summer

So far in the 3 days that summer has let me have alone with flash i've managed to do roughly 86 seconds of good(for me) quality animation. Quite alot of it FBF spread over 3 projects.

Do you think summer will generate alot of animation or will it just be more time to spend sitting around with flash open not really makeing anything?

ME TOO! My eyes used to be a baby blue(like everyones I suppose), then around middle school I noticed they were more of a gray blue and a few months ago someone asked if they were blue or green. I hate no such thing. First computer I ever used was a Mac 1 (yes I am that old). These days I'm just more comfortable with Windows than I am with Mac OS.

open the .pls file in itunes... and that's about it

My Speakers =[

For some reason my speakers have stopped working and i don't know what to do. I've checked the plug and its still there it the correct outlet, the wires are fine. Could anybody help me with this?

Age/Gender Profiling

A few hours ago, a few friends and I decided to go to 7-11 to get something to drink. We entered the store and headed to back where the drinks are. We were in there for about two or three minutes when the man at the cash register started yelling at us to hurry up. We were all like, "What the fuck?" because there were other people in the store but he was only heckling us. After buying our drinks, he rushed us out of the store. We left the store, still pretty confused, and stood outside of the store to drink what we, unfortunately, purchased. The cashier was obviously watching us very closely and then he started throwing pennies from the take a penny-leave a penny in our direction and making "shoo" gestures with his hand. Just to give you an idea of the scene, the cashier is a typical, Indian 7-11 worker with a heavy accent and we are all 16-17 year olds who go to the high school in the same town as the 7-11.
So, we were standing out there drinking for less than a minute when the hubristic jackass has the nerve to come out of the store to tell us we have to leave. Now, there is a sign posted on the outside of the store that specifically states that we have 10 minutes to be there. He tells us we have to leave or he will call the cops. We respond by egging him on, encouraging him to call the cops because we've done nothing wrong. We ask him why we had to leave and reminded him that we are paying customers. He responded with something along the lines of, "I no want you here. I no want your money." We asked him why and the response we get...."I asshole." Seriously, "I asshole" was his reason why he wanted us to leave.
Shortly after, the cops showed up and without asking any questions demanded that we get into our cars and leave immediately. The cashier had a stupid grin on his face as we all got into our cars. When we were about to pull out, the cop, who must've felt pretty fuckin powerful at this point, came to the window and asked my friend how old he was. He said 17 and the cop demanded his license. His license is a provisional one and he is only supposed to have a maximum of 1 other person in the car and there were 4 of us. He threatened us with a ticket and I pointed out that he insisted we get in the car and leave. At this, the cop was speechless and let two of us get out and walk (we picked them up right after).

So... two cases of age discrimination within 10 minutes, one of which came from a cop! Pretty sad if you ask me. Anyone here experience something like this? It's bullshit because I can guarantee I'm more mature and intelligent than that arrogant cashier. The owner of the 7-11 in the next town over is always nice to us and lets us stay as long as we need to so this whole experience came as a real shock to me.

Aww well, cops can be -not good- sometimes, at least this on had legal reasons, i friend told me that once a cop went to him, and instead of telling him something for being an underage drinker, asked him if he could help him get the store guy for being selling beer to underages, the problem is the store guy hadn't sell bear to underages, since one of them had 18 and was the one who buyed it. What the cop wanted was money or free beer from the store people, which he got.

I miss the togetherness of coming on the flash red forum and posting about the simple facts of having drank a few too few money. I'm pretty drunk myself and it is saddening, Where is Kirk when you need him? AND Luis! That lovable man would get drunk and post whenever he felt the need.

The 5.1 speakers with sub is pretty awesome. Nice quality speaker system which is pretty fucking cheap also. I recenlty save up enough so i could buy myself i computer pretty much just so i could use flash without having anyone else in my family buggin me to get off. Something fast and so it wouldnt slow down, sick video and sound card, 19' widescreen monitor, 2gb ram, 320 gb hardrive. My pride and joy also.
Since ive got it, i rarely come out of my room now when im bored at home.

oh, you know what you do? this works so well, especcialy when the store owner knows you and serves you clearly knowing your underage and trusts you? you go in, with the pigs money, buy drink, stash it somewhere, then go back to the pig and say he didnt serve you, they say you can have the money anyways beforehand, so the pig thinks you're going off with some money, but really, hes just gave you money to go get yourself some drink.
