Lol, cause that's more of a complete sentence? There are 'model' sentences with a subject and a verb, but it is grammatically correct to say like 'CAREFUL!' or something. There doesn't HAVE to be a verb, it can just be an exclamative or briefly informative sentence.

Right, so that means you can say:
I careful, you careful, he carefuls, we careful, they careful.
I carefuled, you carefuled, he carefuled, etc.
I was being carefuled.
etc
NO!
nub.
The verb is 'be', in 'be careful'. 'Careful' is actually an adjective, you can say be careful just like you can say be inglorish.

Grammar
We are going to be locking down on people complaining about grammar or punctuation. A user who is foreign or hasn't learned perfect punctuation yet should NOT be punished or flamed for it. Really, a lot of people on Newgrounds actually get better, by being able to practice English a bit more as a language.
I'm just giving you a heads up. If you have issues with grammar, spelling, punctuation, whatever, come to a mod and we'll hat chat. I understand you guys were just joking around, but we've had recent complaints about flame wars concerning grammar and spelling.
I know you guys are just joking around now, but seriously, be kind to new users who are somewhat new to English.

Languages
One thing I've noticed with American schools is that they usually only push learning a language halfway through, and then stopping. Most Americans who are bilingual were only so because their parents taught them it. I've also heard of countries teaching multiple languages, like even 2 or 3.
Anyone been able to learn new languages from school, and by learn, I mean become fluent?

Not my fault, I just used the word 'punctuation' in my post and saza thought it was 'poncuation' and glaiel said 'PUNCTUATION!' and I said ponctuation and cybex said that's a verb and glaiel posted before so it was important and ewe were all thinking about the consequences of our acts because of what glaiel has done before we have done what made us think about the consequences that led us to think about glaiel's post.
I know you guys are just joking around now, but seriously, be kind to new users who are somewhat new to English.
I'm not picking on patu or anything, it's just the nubbish cybex who can't spell :(

No XD
The verb you're using is 'to be'. 'Careful' is just an adjective. it's like saying 'stupid' is a verb because you can say I am stupid.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't complaining about that :). The whole grammar and punctuation thing just brought up a topic I forgot to discuss a while back.

From school? Heck no. TV and NG. :P
Western European schools usually teach English and German on top of the local language and Russian as an extra.

Wow, uncalled for. I happen to know that careful is an adjective and not a verb, and at the same time I am american, and then at the same time as that, I can tie my shoes.

<-- speaks 4 languages.
I learnt hebrew at school in Israel, then when I moved to France (3 years ago) I learnt French, and I also happened to learn English at school, and mainly thanks to the internet. If you look at my first posts I could almost start being compared to patu1 :P. Now I also started learning Spanish at school, this year. I personally think it's really great to learn languages, and perhaps we should spend more time on that rather than on useless lessons, it's really great to know 4 languages before you're 14 :)
I don't know how it is in other countries, but here in France we have around 35 hours of lessons per week and most things we learn (eg: some parts of history, 'civilian education', what we call here 'éducation civique', etc). I really have a feeling more that 3/4 of the time I spend at school is a COMPLETE waste of time AND a waste of neurons. (sp?)

HAHAHAHAH TOAST?! You fail at French. And you fail at Spanish, you're on your second year, so I doubt you could have a decent conversation with a Spaniard.. Oh btw toast, did you take latin or 'grec ancien' in troisième?

Yes it's me, dear Edvins.
You fail at French.
Explains why I got a 19/20 average in CM2 as well as a 19.5/20 ANNUAL average at dictations...
And you fail at Spanish,
Right.

Half decent maybe. But I'll definately be able to interact properly before I'm 14 ;)

Nope, that's part of the useless lessons I referred to on my last post. Useless, stupid, boring, and only old people who stink from the butthole like it.
