Haha, when I said America, I didn't mean the US, but all of it (i.e. North America and South America). =P And let's be honest the vast majority of NG users are from North/South America or Europe. ;)

Haha, you've got it all wrong! Firstly, Centeral America is part of North America, and isn't a really a continent in it's own right.

:P This is sounding real cool. It's definately the best idea ever had by anyone ever. All we need now is some sort of competition master, and a guarantee that people aren't just going to get bored and give up, and we're set :D

I think Luis should lead it. He made the thread and recently said (like, 4 or 5 pages ago) that he wanted to start working with others. This would be great for that.

i vote luis leads up, he has had alot of exp in leading collabs and is a fair and beautiful person

If there was ever a callob I was interested in it would probably be this. It would have to start either right before or right after Christmas...I say this because I have finals up until the 21st. But yea, I like the idea of having everyone do a little ten second clip rather than splitting everyone up. Mostly because I've never really done anything thats more than a few seconds long...

As for finding someone to run it...just make Luis do it. He used to run all the time trials. Force him.

I can't imagine, even with many regulars, that more than half a dozen or so people would really be willing to participate. At most maybe a dozen people.

Drawing Final Project

For my final project for my drawing class the assignment is to make a series of drawings with a common theme. The requirements are that it must be 18x24 (inches) or larger. And it is not supposed to be on paper. So I don't know what material to use...Its also not supposed to be pencil, so I think I'm going to use charcoal. My series will be about snot. Image one: picking nose. Image two: finger with booger? Image three: snot rocket.
Anyone know something good to use to draw on thats not paper and is easy to find?

It all depends what route we take. We could have Luis head it up and have a great big community effort where we all pool our resources e.c.t. e.c.t, or it could take on a competative element. It all depends :P

I'm in. I like the two teams idea but I'm happy with whatever. Luis is definately the most suitable to head this but whether he has the time or not (and actually wants to) is another question.

I'm working on something for the actionscripters that I hope people will take part in. Could be real fun. I should have details posted tonight or tomorrow.

If it goes well, we might need an artist or two. =)

I think it would be cool, But I dont see it happening for some reason. It would get good scores no matter how pathetic it is, which I know it wont be if certain people join. It would be cool, any ideas on a story base?

Hmm, good point there, this does seem like it would be a bit elitist in a way but it is representing more then some people who joined a collab, it's more of a group of people who joined a collab along with the community.

I think that's part of the reason I imagine i'd like the teams idea, you've got a week till the deadline and you call upon the help of whoever you can. Can imagine having little team confrences over MSN.. could be fun if people do it.

If your up for this say so (well, enough people have last page). It's quite difficult to get this down on paper I think, which is why most peeps are suggesting Lu to take control :)

Everyone seems to just want to do a collab in general, no one's really given any specifics or basis to what they'd wanna do. I think we should all at least agree around some topic before deciding who heads it up or who's on who's team.

P.S. I'd love to be part of it anyway.
