I'm really buzzed from two cups of coffee this mornin'.
I don't understand animating on caffine guys - it's too fast, too rushed, they say the coffee helps and makes ya more creative but I can't be creative when the thought I'm thinking about is a few sentences ahead of me.
On the other hand its Hilarius because it makes animating so intense. Though I like drawing when my hand stays still and find a lot more control z-ing happens on coffee.
Anyway enough I have a midterm in poetry to take today and then poetry to write. Wish me luck my reg peeps!
Little Things in games
Lil things are important. Like having a lil' sound FX play each time the character hits the ground. I did it in demenius darkness but I'm fumbling figuring it out in my next game but got some ideas. Other things like in-game dialogue separate from cutscenes. The dude walks up to some traps and the character has his own comments. Really helps playing as the character or getting into the created world.
Backgrounds
I feel I have more experience as a character animator. lol As my favorite bits are focusing on makin the animated dude come to life with the right blinks and facial expression or arm movements. Can't wait til the more action filled Duder episodesto animate more violence. But ya I feel I'm a shit BG artist though I'm getting there. Perhaps the next peice of mine to the art portal will be a practice BG. I'll have to take a good look at some of Adam Phillips animations to learn how it makes it so beautiful - I bet just looking at it I can pick some things up.
Oh shi-
Midterm starts in 30 mins and I'm a 35 min walk away. Peace guys!
