I actually liked both articles, you're a pretty good writer. However, I think you lack some credibility, which is pretty important if you start such a blog if you ask me. The way you write you sound pretty authoritative, but you don't have much to back it up. So if I were you I'd start working on some projects, Show some updates on stuff you're working on etc. Put your money where your mouth is in a way. People don't want to hear financial advice from a homeless person. Make people believe why you would be the right guy to start a dev blog and it should all work out.

Don't think of this as an attack by the way, just trying to help.

I'm working on a pretty big project at the moment. But I have a problem where I often run out of motivation half way through a project so I often don't finish. Also, I know a lot more in theory than I do in practice.

Don't think of this as an attack by the way, just trying to help.

Why'd you blur the castle? It should be the focus.
Perhaps it's that the cliff takes too much of the picture in the composition.
The moon sucks now. I think the impression of the clouds as like a wall could work, but you should lower the horizon and fix the composition with the cliff.

This is basically what happens when i don't finish the same drawing in the same day. Like I said I'll restart again when I get back into the mood I had for it yesterday.

Does anybody have any random ideas that they can throw out, i mean even something simple like
"boy gets beaten up so he decides to train and beat the bully up"
BUT that idea sucks i just wrote it up in 2 seconds.

it can be any genre except preferably not some "trying to be deep" movie where a dude dies and wakes up in a black and white field and discovers happiness or anything dumb like that :P
