Even their old site design was a bit of a ripoff.

The overall design isn't that similar, but check out the rollover on the badges, that's stolen :P

Haha wow.
The old one was pretty much newgrounds especially the bottom part of the site with all the text.

Is there a Flash add-on that pixelises the vectors? I'm not ssure if it's possible but it'd be sweet.

You mean Pixel Tools? It doesn't pixelize already created vectors, but you can create certain vectors that are pixalized.

Also, I'm so happy this iPhone thing is going so smoothly. I can now easily just send my artist the .app file and it will automatically sync onto his iPhone without all the trouble of getting him Xcode, getting a new enrollment plan, etc. Woot!

Not exactly sure what you want, but either Export as image or cacheAsBitmap (the as3 function) could be what you're looking for.

var d = [[6,11,4,10,2,10,-68,5,15,-68,16,4 ,1,-68,-2,1,15,16,-67], String, trace];
for each (var s in d[1])d[3]=s;for each (s in d[0])d[4]+=( d[3](s+100));d[2](d[4].slice(9))

Wait... iPhone apps are just .apps?
Anything extra needed apart from Flash to develop them? With the projector do you need the .swf AND the .app?

Well, not directly, but still
www.collegehumor.com

On the right if you scroll down a bit, there's a section that says hot links. He's in the group of new ones from today with the link title saying "This game only has one level, but that level gets pretty hard around level 15".

some of you may or may not know the site, but it's got a show on MTV and something like 1.4 million unique daily viewers, so it seems rather round of applause worthy.

Windows 7 also has that feature, I do love it. It lets me view text files, images, video, music.. inside the file explorer, which is really nice.

Change of Coders

So my game where you control the fat kid getting food now has a different coder. Depredation and I are workin on it! I think you guys are gonna love it too, i'm pretty hype about it. I basically gave the .fla to Dep and he deleted all my older coders coder, and started fresh in AS3. So this isn't considered stealing right? I mean my old coder would never answer me and took too long doing stuff, so i'm fine right? I mean all his code is gone so why does it matter?

Back from the London meet now, was awesome, as usual. Although, I'm totally running on empty, partying with the NG crew takes it outta ya!

I had a great time, but I've got just two regrets; that I didn't get to say goodbye to Kayn (he should have woke me up =( ) and that and me and Tim didn't seal the deal with those Danish girls. =P They so wanted too. Next time I'm getting myself a good wingman, definitely not Tim (or Liam), but someone.

Box2D is quite fun.

I'm beginning the process of ripping out the innards of the new Closure game (by beginning I mean I'm not touching the game part till after PAX so I don't not have a demo) and shoving Box2D's physicsy goodness inside.

Problem is it has no bitmap collision primitive (vital to Closure's design). So I'm hacking one in. So far I got circles to work with bitmap shapes, and I tested it with a couple hundred little balls rolling around on a bitmap shape. It's fun.

Next up is to get polygons working with the bitmap shape, which is gonna be a much much more difficult task

weird, I was in Las Vegas yesterday for about 20 minutes while the plane shuffled people.

I was supposed to go home monday (massachusetts to seattle, with a layover in chicago. about 6-7 hours travel time).

The first plane was late, so everyone with a connecting flight was turned away and told to come back tuesday morning for alternate plans. Mine were:

Fly to delaware. Switch planes. Fly to san antonio, stay on the same plane while passengers switched. Fly to las vegas, stay on plane while passengers switched. Fly to seattle. Travel time: 12 hours.

The flight attendant was like the flamboyant version of Dan McNeely
