well lemme reccomend some games with good enough graphics. But the gameplay makes up for any complaints with graphics.

As I mentioned a while back my 360 broke down so I'm playing FF7 now as well, this is either my third or fourth playthrough :) If I finish it before my Xbox comes back from repairs (kinda doubt it though as I'm trying to get as much out of the game as I can) I will probably get on MGS next.

I'm on it too :p Every time I play it I notice something new about it that's completely awesome.

Metal Gear solid 3 is my favourite from the series. Best bosses (except Psycho mantis), best music, best story, best looking, best plot etc etc. Plus what other game lets you eat gone off crocodile meat?

I should see if mine still works. The speakers stopped working last time I checked but it still output sound if you plugged in headphones.

Ive been working on some ideas for a new site layout, what do you think? People say the roots are hard to read but i like them :( It doesnt need to be the most accessible site in the world, id rather sacrifice something for art than have a boring layout. Any thoughts?

I lost a game today :( I totally forgot Christmas Cannon was on Gamejacket, now its vanished to the world! I dont even have the source files, what a bastard.

I love the site layout, the roots are easy to read.
Viewing your site almost forced me to play Penguinz, I heard you talk a lot about it, saw it in a magazine, but I never really got to actually playing it.

I must say it's incredibly awesome. It plays really nice and the controls are simple and standard so I got used to them very quickly. My computer's not that good for gaming, only 1.9 Ghz, and my graphics card isn't too awesome either.
But I could play Penguinz very smoothly, with no lag at all. Well, now and then there were a few seconds of a tiny bit slower, but I LOVED it. Great job on the CPU usage!

Awesome! Cheers for that man, I would probably have never found that :) Looking at that game, I cant believe how long I spent on some of those animations, considering how small they are. You can zoom in like 4 times and they still look sweet. Ive got lazy!

I dont like that line after the roots, the part where everything abruptly turns into a different brown. I think the hard edge kills how organic the layout feels. Maybe fade it into the light brown or just make it the same brown as the area above. Maybe alter the background art on the css so that it has little specs of dirt here and there so its not a flat color.

I think you need a better hyperlink color. I cant tell whtas a link and what isnt. Maybe an eggshell yellow with dotted underlines or something would be enough.

Also I think the top art part is taking up too much real estate above the fold. I would snip some of the sky up at the top, about 100px or so so that your beef/content is further up above the fold.

Jimp might be cool if it was bigger also. Its about the same size as the 4 nav items and they feel too similar in hierarchy, yet the font is dramatically different. So you dont want that uncomfortable limbo. I would just make the Jimp bigger you can afford to. Make that really pop, thats your brand.

The roots are cool. You could use a darker shade on the letters to make it easier to read for them.

For the last few days I have been playing Mariokart wii constantly. It has to be the best game in the world. I've now managed to almost perfect using manual on karts, which before seemed impossible, and its soooo much more fun than manual motorbikes! I'm still at the stage where I'm a lot better with a motorbike than a kart, but I reckon I could one day match my biking skills with a kart.

At the moment, I'm trying to get 2/3 stars on all cups. I've done it on 50cc and 100cc, but i've got about 8 cups left on 150cc and mirror. Does anyone know what the star system is actually ranked on? Is there just a specific time you need to get?

Is anyone else completely obsessed with mariokart?

I once spent about 4 hours one night with a few people just trying to get shorter times on one track, the little one with the water falls (Yoshi Falls, meh..?) Anywho, managed to get near highscores on that one track and didn't play the rest of the game at all...
