A Topic: Drink

What is the drink of choice of everyone? Alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices are completely acceptable.

My favourite drink is a nice cold Boddingtons. They are pretty rare in the US so when I get it I love it. On the other hand I love Dr. Pepper to death, and will always be my drink of choice while programming.

Hi there!

Drinks

I love energy drinks. Just not Red Bull. Only Mixxed Up, because I'm used to that brand ;)

I also love Snow Whites. Beer+ 7UP = Snow White. Every now and then I take one, although I'm not legally allowed.

Yeah.. that's not C++ :P Try using something like Code::Blocks for C++, it's much simpler for beginners ^_^

Alcoholic-ly I drink cider, specifically Woodpecker though Strongbow is much more popular so I usually just drink that. I don't like drinking cider out of bottles so I usually make do with whatever is on tap. Non-alcoholically.. coke, cherry coke, dr. pepper, irn bru.. they are all awesome :)

Lol XD What a silly name. We just call that lager w/ lemonade, or lager top (as in lager with a top of lemonade) :p

Drink

Me and my dad invented the best drink ever, the only problem is that the measurements can only be centimeters off or else it tastes awful. We have the perfect sized glass for it, and what it is is you pour a whole can of Diet Sunkist into the glass than fill it up to the little line thing with Orange Juice.
It's so good.

Bitter is for old men.

I dunno, the youth of today...

Anyway my choice of drink varies, Fosters, or any lager, if it's just a casual one, Snakebite & Black if I'm at a club, Turbo Shandies if I wanna get smashed or a Cuba Libre if it was a casual one that's turned into a bit of a session.

As for soft drinks, most fizzy drinks are fine by me (Irn Bru ftw though) but Summer Fruits squash is where it's at.

Yeah, beer's the minimum alcohol concentration you should be aiming for. Don't dilute it further!

Lager's good for a casual pint... generally I'm more into double Jack and cokes, although as the night progresses things get a little more creative.

Our college has an awesome drink. It's essentially a blackcurrant snakebite with a couple of extra shots in it, and it tastes like malt loaf.

Good luck with the wha-? oh, no, im sorry. no lag here. Left 4 dead runs at > 130fps, tf2 at ~90fps. 1650x1050 resolution with best possible quality, ofc; and I can open a hundred tabs in google chrome without any visible lag. Speed depends primarily on hardware, not software. No one ever said that windows is a well built OS, but it's the only choice for gamers and people who don't want to be isolated from the rest of the world. If you want a good OS and you don't know how to handle viruses and spyware, get a Unix distribution like Ubuntu. You can even get some programs to run Windows games on Linux.

Despite the relatively bad architecture and vulnerability to malware, Windows is not as bad as it tends to be portrayed. I actually run windows vista (with ubuntu and fedora also installed on the pc), which is considered to be the worst piece of software ever concieved, and despite the annoying security options, it's never really caused any harm. I downloaded about 250 torrents on my PC, visited the darkest places of the internet, and I never got a virus that did any significant harm. It does take a little while to boot, but I suppose that's normal considering I got 400gb occupied on my drive, and boot speeds aren't really a priority, i usually get something to drink while it's booting. Obviously not a perfect OS, but does there exist one? no. and windows does its job just fine

Snakebite with Venom is not unique to your university. Why does everyone assume that the first place they had a drink is the only place it exists? :P

I once tried this drink that is a mixture between wine and a soft drink that is usually used for medicial cases of high stress, and is bitter a hell, even when diluted, well aparently the idiot mixing it forgot it was a highly concentrated mixture that HAD to be diluted. ACK.

Fight the powah.

Drinks

I'm a beer/lager man, vodka just takes like acid, i'd rather enjoy getting pissed with a cold smooth drink than some stronger spirits. That being said, i have tried absinthe, i can't remember what it was like because after 1 medium shot i was pretty much out of it.

I'll have to taste out Fosters when I go in September. It's fairly good here but I can't seem to find it on tap.

I'll also go with the fruity drinks people and divulge my love for the Appletini.
