No time to check myself (if I start playing something now I won't stop :p) but it's generally brush if there are sharp points and varying thicknesses. Of course, a highly zoomed and thick brush is generally hard to tell apart from a pencil.

It's kind of hard to expect anything from them because they don't seem to have any competent programmers.
One thing they failed to include in CS4 was XFL, FLA in XML format. Of course, that would only speed up the downfall of the program because people like me would no longer need Flash.

It reminds me slightly of adam philips as well, it has the same sort of 'flare'. They both have an amazing ability to animate so fluidly, like how a real human body or animals would react to certain things, extremely talented :(

I'm not sure, but i think brush, when zoomed in, you can see the sometimes varying thickness, altough it's hard to spot.
