Happy Birthday!

tbh, I feel all birthdays after the 16th (or maybe 18th) are all rubbish anyway. Nothing left to gain.

Visualization

I really feel like if you visualize what you want, you'll be able to achieve it.

I have a picture of some series VI air jordans on my desktop that I look at almost every day. Even though they're uber expensive and hard to find, I feel like some day I'll get them.

Anyone else do this?

That my friend, is The Secret, the law of attraction. Which states anything you think of hard enough, constantly focus on it everyday, it will arrive.

It's pretty crazy how this thing works, I mean I once tested it where I in an older post in my userpage, I had 2 comments for like 2 months. One night I said to myself,"Tommorow, there's going to be a third comment, I can't wait to see what it is."
The next day, there it was, the third comment. I seriously couldn't believe my eyes then!

That is the power of visualization, the power of The Secret.

I still think a tablet PC is a more sound investment. Most of them run on Wacom technology, and with it holding a computer as well as a pressure sensitive screen, it's more portable.

My HP tablet always gets a few of the artists wanting one at the meetups.

okay. i dont plan on wearing any mroe gel and i got the streaks out of my hair (cept for some blond at the tips which i SPECIFICALLY told her to take out) so now i dont look as gay.

so then my life is good. quite good.

but my computer is still as slow as hell. its being nice to me right now but generally it just freezes every now and then for quite a long time. sometimes from a few minutes to 20 minutes. it lags like shit and everything.

anyone know a way to fix this? i assume i have to include more info but i dont know what to put.

no no dont get me wrong here. i didnt do it for peer pressure from you guys, i did it from peer pressure from my friends and my own personal decision. i had never wanted the blonde streaks from the start and the fact that my friends said i look gay AND young confirmed the fact that i really didnt want them.

also the gel i was never planning on continuing. i know when you guys are screwing around.

I like twitter. It's a good way to spread word.

I agree. It is a great tool for networking. Thats the main reason I do it. Also to follow people that I look up to and aspire to be. I follow a lot of local/big name DJs in the Philadelphia, New York areas and I've learned a lot from the little microblog posts they send out. It took a little while to get into...but oh am I in it now.

I agree with that, Twitter IS a good way to network, but I prefer LinkedIN. But yeah, that's more professional, Twitter's fine to just empty your thoughts.

In case you haven't noticed yet, this isn't my main anymore. PM me here.

GTFO.

Jumpin on that there bandwagon.

Mapping

Anyone else here done any mapping for source games, or crysis, or anything of that sort? It's a good way to start 3D basics, and you can actually play your creation, distribute it etc, which is always nice, models are only downloaded by modders, everyone needs a good map to play. Plus it's free which is a big bonus.

You should all check out Version 1 of my personal website. Tell me what you think.
http://coveportfolio.com/

Its got alot of my good work in the past year, including some games i have in the making. Looking foreward to getting more work done on kNight.

The site itself is very new. Version 1. Kinda tediouse to navigate and i need to do some odds and ends, but an opinion on the content and basic elements would help.
