terminal is also pretty good too. I downloaded a simple little plugin for the right click menu that lets me righ click a folder and do "open terminal here", and the terminal automatically cd's to that folder when it opens so I don't have to look up paths and stuff.

There's a lot of little gems hidden in the utilities folder and shortcuts on the mac, especially if you download the developer suite.

One called "instruments" lets me attach things to applications and processes and look for memory leaks, it makes debugging my stuff a lot easier cause I don't need to bloat my code with memory leak checking APIs.

Also, your toxic dead ideas dump thread gave me the best idea ever. Like, seriously, I'm going to be so rich off of this :P Basically it's a game where you play as the developer (me :D ) and you go around through old, unfinished projects, fighting characters who are pissed off because you never finished them.

It'll be great, because I'll get to go through a load of different art and gameplay styles without going all out on a full game for any of them, and re-use a load of dead sprites. Also I get to draw a cute sprite of myself for once which appeals to my egoism :D

Any thoughts?

Last years skills canada videos and this years skills manitoba entries were all typical things that get blammed in the portal. According to some guy, the person from saskatchewan is a really good animator though, and got silver at last years skills canada

(even though last years all were crap, maybe he's improved cuz apparently he's better than me, either that or the guy was taking a shot at me)

Now ontopic, yeahy, the SF collab looks pretty good and way better than the MGC Disc 2, I was actually going to make a part but I had to take a trip to Uruguay and couldn't send it in. I only gave it a quick view, can someone tell me where Catoblepas's part is, seriously, can't seem to find it and it was actually the only reason why I wanted to watch it.

Bcause I didn't think about my name that much, duh. When I signed up, I didn't expect to make friends (or enemies) here, nor did I think NG was gonna be something I was gonna hooked up to for a long time.
