compatibility test plz: http://www.glaielgames.com/NewClosure.zi p
hit game, load test.lvl, jump.lvl, or youtube.lvl, arrows to move space to pick up.

in the resources folder (mac: right click show package contents) there's a file settings.cfg, open it and mess with it if you so choose.

feel free to mess with the editor but its not well documented and it's full of hotkeys (land: mousewheel, click, shift, tab, S, X, Y are hotkeys. enter switches between editors. object: s=startingpos, o=orb, hold space and click to place things. you cant delete stuff yet in this one. esc goes back screens.)

raycaster is nothing yet, arrows to rotate and expand view angle, space to move forward

Ok, I'm stupid, I didn't extract all the files I just ran the exe from the zip (*facepalm*). It does work, and it runs great even on my crappy laptop.

The levels you told us to load worked fine for me.
But I was too curious to resist, and tried to load snowman.lvl
That one made me crash, but the ones you told us worked perfectly.

I tested it on my (kinda crappy) laptop which I think have this card.

Works great on my stationary comp btw :)

two computer related questions guys.

okay so i used the data compressor or whatever it was that deletes unnecessary files and compresses old files and such to clear up space for my comp.

it got rid of over 80 million kilobytes (or bytes cant remember). is that a lot?

my comp still runs slow tho, so i dont think my slow comp doesnt have a memory problem.

second question is: im planning on getting a new computer, most likely the new Windows 7 (i think thats the one), do you think that thats the best choice, or should i go with a better windows XP? i dont really want to go into a mac comp because all my comp games are only for windows.

I've been known to drink cleaning products or nail polish remover in a pinch.

In all honesty though, I've pretty much been getting home from work and either working on Reemus Chapter 3, or tending to social plans if any exist. Not much internet perusing time.

If it really was 80 million kilobytes it's around 70gb, if it's bytes it is around 70mb. Megabytes are small, 70mb (which I assume is the right amount it cleared up) is unnoticeable. 70gb is a lot of space.

my comp still runs slow tho, so i dont think my slow comp doesnt have a memory problem.

Computers generally run based on their component speeds (processor being the most important, but RAM, HDD, etc all effect different things speed-wise). Clearing up space on your hard drive won't speed your computer up any noticeable amount. If you use the defragment tool, that will help make your hard disk access (read/write) speed faster, but it won't be an incredible speed gain.

second question is: im planning on getting a new computer, most likely the new Windows 7 (i think thats the one), do you think that thats the best choice, or should i go with a better windows XP? i dont really want to go into a mac comp because all my comp games are only for windows.

Windows 7 is apparently better than Windows XP. I haven't tried 7 but I probably will have it on my next computer. XP is great but it's better to have an up to date OS that is more supported by newer releases of software/hardware. When 7 is first released (it isn't out yet, no idea when it will be without googling) it will have a lot of compatibility issues with some software and older hardware, just like any new OS does, but this will clear up fast :p

I just watched "A place for paedophiles", a documentary by Louis Theroux about some american institute where paedophiles are locked up for "treatment" after jail. Theroux's journalism style is very entertaining, he's very up front and it genuinely makes you feel uneasy to watch sometimes, but in a good way, and I love that. About the documentary; firstly I must say I disagree with the way these people are being forced into this hospital after serving their jail time, it's really not fair. However, they are paedophiles (or at least, 'were') and that takes that sympathy away. Watching the documentary it's amazing how all of the paedophiles look like a typical paedophile, and lot of them seem to behave like a typical paedophile would do. They forcibly tell Louis (and the camera) that they are no longer paedophiles, as if they are lieing to themselves. There are a few people in there that have been through therapy for 5-10 years and seem like they genuinely are sorry for their actions, but most of them seem to only be sorry they were caught. There's some paedophiles that refuse the therapy, and tell us that it's because they are cured through prison, that therapy can't help, etc etc.. but it's as if they're scared of what the therapy will show - if they really don't have feelings for children, the therapy will show that, so why be a dick and refuse it? It just makes you seem like a sleazeball that deserves to be punched in the face by Iron Man.

Also, BBC iPlayer is the best flash video player ever. Maybe not content wise, they only host things for 7 days after the show was aired, but the actual player (and the website itself) has no flaws. Subtitles, volume adjusting that works perfectly (goes up to 11!), popup version, full screen (that also works perfectly). Plus it's in high definition (though you have a choice of SD), and they recently added a download feature (I haven't tried it but I assume there will be a license that only allows limited period of viewing). Just sayin' :D
