Hai guys. Does any of you remember (or has ever seen) my Heroes of the lost valley animation? if not, then do. :P In my opinion has to be the best i've ever made. Animation-wise...

Thing is, two weeks ago my programming teacher told me about a national animation contest at highschool level, and asked me to participate and specifically with that entry (he'd seen it before, saw all my works, too). So I did a few touch ups... I think this is most likely going to be the final piece:

So, most changes are on the intro and on the second "scene" (that one changed abruptly, was way too boring). Comments, suggestions, etc? I just finished doing the laziest animation ever; the final 5 seconds of lip syncing and character animation are just plain dumb (as you may notice), but it looks pretty to the common eye. ^_^

So, um, :D comment me please. I'll resubmit to NG as "reamp" someday.

Well, the main issue was the scrolling trees at the start. They vibrated so much it was like a mini rave was going on inside them all. The bird taking off from the branch seemed to move more like a helicopter than a bird, and the zooming-in on the kids eye showed some brush strokes, that might need fixing. Great overall, but 8/10.

=( the trees vibrating should be because of your comp, try it on low >_< i hate it, but it really sucks up your computer because of it being heavy graphicwise >_<

I'm being harsh here because I love the theme and music :P

The animation was decent, but for a lot of it you could have made it less... tweeny. Mainly with the elf/imp guys. Also, you could speed things up just a little, for the sake of those of us with ADD. Either that, or draw more stuff for people to look at.

I went to Amsterdam last summer and had a retardedly fun time. I coordinated my trip with the 5 Days Off Festival and have never seen so many gnarly musicians in one week. Definitely the most caffeine and alc induced sleepless week I've ever had.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

I think it's been mentioned many a time, as it should be because that is the single greatest idea to ever come out of this thread. Everyone who hasn't been to Amstradam should want to go anyway, so why not do it and chill with the newgrounds regs at the same time? I would so save up for that trip if there was a set date and missing classes wouldn't destroy me. Either way, it's an epic idea that one day will be done, it's destiny man.
