Naw Unit, you're still farther ahead of that crazy new guy. Also, Vengeance hasn't been here recently, not really sure why, but he only does dropping in mostly.

Just here's a small update. I don't need a perfect engine, I just thought it would be cool to try and make a smaller Box Engine mostly API and stuff, so here it is, but also to remake the whole Flade type thing. Just wanted to show you guys, didn't want you all to yell about it, so calm down Niato and others...

lol, it's a little obvious. The FAQ and myths sections are still hilarious, though.

Myth: Child trading is bad for the kids

Only if by "bad" you mean "good."

Myth: There is no Biblical support for trading children

Yes there is, though perhaps not gay children.

Myth: The World is Flat

No, it isn't. The twin towers were not taken down by a controlled explosion, the illuminati hasn't fixed the Oscars since the 70s and Sasquatch, if he ever existed, was driven to extinction in the 1930s. The world is not flat. Even Columbus knew it, and you are smarter than him, it's time for you to come to terms with reality and start putting the interests of the child first

How will this appear on my credit card statement?

Especially if your spouse is unaware that you are considering a child trade, your billing privacy can be very important. It's easy to say you should keep your wife out of your mail, but in case you don't have the chutzpah to keep her in line, you need not fear your Visa statement will betray you.

What about kids I have "found" that I might like to trade?

We do not encourage people rounding up kids strictly for the sake of trading, but understand that this is a very rare circumstance, and that when it does happen, those children are best served by being traded to parents who are more caring and nurturing. In practical terms, unless you have legal custody of the children, you can not trade them. If you DO have custody, regardless of what you did to "legally" acquire it, you are eligible to trade "your" children accordingly, perhaps for one you would better appreciate.

NO DONT DO IT
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Godaddy aren't a hosting company, they're a registrar. They set up hosting to make some extra money, they don't have any experience with it, read any reviews and you'll see they're buy.

If you want hosting, I've hosted a few NG'ers ( Kaynslamdyke, psycho, rig, happy-meat etc.) And i have a sexy server ;D PM me :D

In side note, yes, Squid seems to run an honest business and I recommend using his site. He was giving a discount to 'grounders when he was setting up.

Grindhouse Sponsorships
During my bored wandering around the net, I bounced through Youtube through Wikipedia and read up on Exploitative B Movies / Grindhouse Cinema, and decided that the current Flash scene currently feels that way - cheap knock off films along tried and tested lines grinded out for quick returns and double feature packs to be distributed off to everyone buying them.

Am I just being a senseless curmudgeon again, or does anyone else see the comparison, especially when taken in account with Emanuele's work and other people like him who are making games purely for monetising reasons?

I like Ema's blog, but I worry about its existence, through no fault of it's own, standing for everything I hate

With Dreamhost you can get great vouchers.. i'm with them, they have a great helpline and i have had no problems whatsoever. I know most of the programmers on ng use it, but if your going for a small site then you may as well go with squiddy, he does a good bargain.

Don't ever go with dreamhost or an equivalent. They're perfect for a small site getting very minimal traffic but as soon as you use more than a very small percentage of your limit, they'll shut you down. They offer so much space and bandwidth, yet they cannot provide this, they bank on you not using anywhere near 1% of the hosting they provide, so they have built in contract clauses, so if you do they have the right to close your site down.

Well... I'm getting angry at Flash. Learning by yourself is a pain, especially when you don't have a tablet.

If anyone wants to be my Flash Godfather I'll love you forever.

Rhymes. keehee. I'm just sick of watching hundreds of tutorials :( Oh well, I guess I just need to persevere. It's annoying having good ideas and not being able to put them on paper... err on Flash.

Well... I guess what I should ask is a question I'd like a lot of people to answer to just like:

In which software do you draw? Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, Paint, on paper then scan?

Because without a tablet I just can't understand how people draw nicely... Like Luis says he never uses a tablet himself... I really need tips :(
