I just got done watching a really weird movie...Sweeney Todd. Its a musical (but still good) about a barber. Instead of shaving their beard he cuts their throats, sends em down this one thing, makes them into pies, and sells them.

Its really weird and dark, but still an awesome movie

Ok, I guess I'll descibe it in detail then.

Mr. Benjamin was sent to jail for "being foolish". After 15 years he returned to london so that he could see his wife and daughter again. He finds out that his wife poisoned herself and that his daughter was now in the hands of the judge. So now he wants to kill the judge and get his daughter back. WHILE another one of the sailors from Sweeney Todd's (Mr. Benjamin's) ship is going after his daughter...but he doesn't know its her daughter.

SPOILERS BELOW

The wife didn't actually kill herself, but she did poison herself and was in bed for 3 months, and at the end of the movie sweeney todd kills her by mistake, thinking it was someone else and that she was already dead. He finally gets to the judge and sends him down the shoot thingy. When he gets down there that chick is there screaming. Sweeney has a talk with her and throws her into the furnace. Then that one kid cut todd's throat

actually, sweeney todd didnt have a ship, he was shipwrecked and found and he got to the judge before he got to his wife, and there is a reason for why he killed everyone, that you still havent stated so you didnt fully pay attention

Keith, calm down, the play and the movie were different. In the movie NG-Unit is almost all right, although he has a few minor useless details that are off, but overall he's actually pretty damn close.

Has anyone else tried any of this? I was over at the General forum and this is what I came across. A thread involving a "virtual haircut." But to experience the full technique of it, you have to wear your headphones and close your eyes.

This was it'll make you feel as if you're actually in the room. Crazy.

Were you like, listening to what the guy was saying? Its pretty much just two microphones, places the same distance away from each other as the average persons ears. Then just both set to record, set one to left and one to right...

I kind of figured out that they did that after I listened to it a second time more closely.

Also I have a question for the regulars. How do you make it so when you post a code it is in the dark highlighted section? I have been trying to do it and i cant figure it out. I feel like such a noob asking that.

We did it in year 9 Drama. I've never seen the film. But I did see the BBC Drama of it. It was pretty good.

Wow that barber shop thing was crazy, I was giggling through the entire thing, I really thought someone was standing next to my when the dude started whispering. It's funny because we've been discussing this subject in my psychology classes the last couple of weeks. Interesting find.

I <3 Melbourne. My uncle lives there and I spent a week and a bit there. It was fab. I'm going out there again in a few years and will probably spend time in Melbourne again. However, my favorite place was Fraser Island - just off the south coast of Queensland. I loved my holiday to Australia. Was the best yet. We're hoping to go to New Zealand soon.

It's worth looking at. It's an interesting read, if you can get past the author's mentality that everything happens a certain way and that's the right way. It's like ordering a biscotti with your coffee... you get it because you are hungry and need something to chomp at beyond your normal cup.
