Jewelry

No piercings, rings, necklaces. I have my Resident Evil Umbrella Corp. watch (don't laugh at me) which looks quite nice, but it's a few links too loose for me, so it collects dust. I'm too lazy to get them removed, and it's pretty much impossible for me to do (I tried many times).

I personally don't get the appeal of spending tons of money on something for my wrist that spins or is covered in diamonds or something or $500 on shoes that are used for walking on the dirty ground.

Jewelry

I used to wear a watch in 6th grade and parts of 7th I think, but my wrist was so thin it would like slide up and down. Plus the guy at the watch shop that removes the links got pissed at me because it still didn't fit and he took away all the removable links haha. But other than that, no I don't wear jewelry of any kind and I don't plan to. Plus I wore those stupid hemp necklaces back then too...glad I outgrew that.

always behind schedule.

Jewelry

I wear a gold necklace which I got from my ol' man. If I wasn't in strength and conditioning at school I'd probably wear my gold bracelite, and maybe my watch too...

Yes, I'm a crazy DUTCH pickle eating mullet-man who loves gooooooooooooooooooooooooold! >:3

Other then that I don't wear any jewelry. Peircings always kind of put me off. :S
I love tattoos though that counts more of a body art thing I think.

WRESTLEMANIA!

Twas awesome. I quite enjoyed it despite a few disappointing moments. They put on a good show and adjusted wonderfully durring technical problems. The wrestlers did their job well and put on a great show, some pulled off some dang fine tricks. All in all a great show.

I was stuck watching it alone with my dog... :(

LOL i dont see the appeal either.. but i cant help myself... actually ive only made one extravagant watch purchase and thats when i got my first paycheck of my first real job when i finished college. I dunno it was one of those impulse buys and its more symbolic of that phase of my life rather than it being about an expensive watch. those were the good ol days when i didnt have to pay bills or none of that bullshit. To have the joy of being able to waste a whole paycheck on something stupid would be swellllll.

Despite really having no bills at the moment, I try not to buy stuff buy stuff because I can. However, now would be a good time to start that wicked collection of various Resident Evil figures I've always looked up on eBay but never had the money to buy... even though they'd just sit on my comp desk and gather dust. At least they'd look cool doing it.

you have to move quicly down, then step aside (up) when the ball comes, then continue down, get the dot, go all the way up with the dot's flow, then wait for the center one to go away, go to the other side, and just follow the blue's way and step aside when they're too close. I go to 9 when i thought drawing in flash was a better idea..

I have my Resident Evil Umbrella Corp. watch

Cool! I want one! where did you got it?

I dont see the point in buying a super-expensive million dollard watch when all it does is telling time, and having the risk of losing one of those diamonds you invested so much in...
Better ge ta nice, modest watch (or a resident evil one xD)

Got it off of eBay many years ago. I did a quick search, and couldn't find any on there. Plenty of zippo's and dog tags, though :P

I've recently started wearing a watch again. Thats about it.

I wear a watch and that's it too. It's functional you know, unlike other types of body decorations.

Work habits

I'm pretty sure we bring this topic up every 10 pages but i dont care, do you have any particular work habits? Is there a particular genre of music you listen to that gets you in a productive mood perhaps.. or maybe you have your flash menus set up an usual way that somehow makes sense for you. etc etc

One of my work habit things is to e-mail myself. If i dont e-mail myself I'll forget to do it. Guaranteed. I was just thinking about how silly it is that i do that. Other shit that i do without noticing is when i open a new flash document i turn all snapping off, and that stupid magnet tool off. Like i could do it with my eyes closed probably. I dont even think about it anymore... its just automatic. i also have to have my flash movie on the left monitor. I think thats about it.

Im always listening to music anyways no matter what i do :P

As for particular work habits, i absolutely MUST have something that constantly distracts me and prevents me from actually doing any work.

you never said it had to be a good or productive habit :P

Work Habits
I spend my first half hour before work getting all the internet funtime out of my system. The Firefox button is so tempting, but if I get all that email/web browsing/facebook out of my system before working life is much easier.

I have created playlists of music to avoid being a music snob and pressing buttons to change the music. Getting over the fact that music needs to be changed was a huge issue for me, and not playing DJ saves a bunch of time.

Working Habits

Let's see, I always listen to music, most of the time soundtracks or songs that fit the atmosphere of the animation I'm working on. Snapping is always turned off here as well. I do always turn on the rulers and I usually add a couple of guides to keep things nice and clean. When I've worked on something and have been looking at the same piece for a very long time I quit Flash and spent half an hour or more doing something else. After that I open up Flash again and immediately test the scene or movie to see if I still like it, either that or I'll show it to a friend. I have some sort of malfunction in my brain which makes me see every minor imperfection in an animation. I can spend hours working on barely visible details, which takes way too much time.

The fesitival is always great. The camping is the best part. It's gonna be expensive this year though. £155 for a ticket (plus booking fee plus p&p). The whole festival will probably cost me about £300+

Do you guys really have festivals over there? I thought it was all tours, like the Warped Tour etc.

Festivals
Multi-day festivals are becoming a dying breed here in the US because of the costs to operate them and due to the possible legal issues that happen from housing people in the vicinity. Also because every new Woodstock we hold ends up in riots.

There are a few left, but most operate under the idea that you go home, and come back the next day. It's too much of a legal hassle these days.

Festivals

I think Canada has a lot of festivals. There are probably a lot that I never heard of. Also I recently found out that the Bacon Brothers are coming to my city which ain't bad. If you don't know who the Bacon Brothers are. They are Kevin Bacon (you might know the name from the 6 degrees of separation) and his brother, whom I do not know the name of.

Also speaking of 6 degrees of separation. I was walking through a store and saw a sign with all these
sayings. And one of them was....

Chuck Norris can kick through all 6 degrees of separation, hitting anyone, anywhere, in the face, at any time.

Phenomenon on Homestar Runner
Anyone here watches Homestar Runner? And in particular StrongBad Emails. If you do, you've probably noticed the 43th email, "little questions". It was written by a guy named Viklas from Sweden. Guess what, that email has it's own page on a Homestar Runner wiki.
Anyway, to the point. In that wiki they think Viklas is probably a misspelling of "Niklas". This is not true though. How do I know? Because I'm Viklas.
It was back in 2003 so keep in mind I was only about 11-12 years old. Me and my friend, Lukas, used to combine our names and use it as a nick for different occasions. The combined name was Viklas.

Anyway, it was just cool stumbling upon this and I think I'm abit famous in the Homestar Runner community (even though they don't know it's me).

Awesome. :D
