Let everyone post what they want. If they're idiots, then they have a right to be idiots and have their posts totally disregarded. Who died and made anybody the owner of the forum?

Hmmm... Arrogant cliquey shit....
Right to assembly, anyone?
Even if those in the cliques are stupid, that's also a right of theirs, if I'm not mistaken

You confuse the issue, anyhow I don't think that the US constitution applies on the internet, especially on a private website.
I was pointing out that arrogant cliquey shit has taken over this forum, not that we should ban it.

the BILL OF RIGHTS, mostly the first amendment, should APPLY to everything... say anything you want EXCEPT threatening other people, thats assault and i wont tolerate it... anything else should be fair game...
also, forming clubs and excluding people should be allowed, then you make a club and form one urself... its no different than the PGA havin that chick play and the LPGA HAVING to let that guy play on it... which is kinda funny cuz i think he is going to destroy the rest of the LPGA, and that chick will do quite nicely, top 25...

based on what? cuz i havent seen anything cliquey OTHER than the regulars lounge but anyone that uses logic is allowed to say stuff in there, i have no tolerance for stupid people that spend more time bitching and moaning than uses RATIONALE thought...

NO US laws should apply to the internet. Only international, as all sites are international. Even if they are uploaded or maintained from within the US, the site itself is available and stored internationally.

Exactly. Well said, Ted. Mwahaha, I made a rhyme! The Internet is not governed strictly by the United States, therefore it should not have the same laws put on it. That's why I never liked the Napster situation.

You should actually read the whole thread before commenting on anything.

I'll stick with my rational thought thank you very much.

It's a secret. Just know that WE choose YOU, not the other way around. You'll know if you're picked

This only fuels my paranoia. I fear a secret society ruling the politics forum, deciding who stays , who goes, what can be said, what will be allowed to be posted.

the key word is rational, if u have rational and logical posts then feel free to join in the discussion, if all ur going to do is scream and rant with no proof or valid points then dont bother me... although thats my rational anyway...

God dammit. I was afraid of that. Now I only want in more. But I'll have to wait and hope I'm one of the chosen.

Heres a useless fact, masons used exalted in Renaissance ages and in some other cutures too. They were very prominent figures and were considered immune to attacks from enimies because no enimie would want to waste the life of a mason. So I guess you can think of yourselves as the Aristocracy of the lounge.

LOL. Secret societies... The New World Order and the Antichrist rise out from, dun dun dun, Newgrounds!
Anyway, I don't think they'll be that oppressive, else they won't last that long. Any opinion is valid as long as it's created from rational thought. All that needs to go is random meaningless comments, and things that don't contribute at all really....
If someone thinks America is being 9/11, they should be able to say so, as long as they've got some reason for it. If that's ALL they say well, they didn't do any defending =P

hmm...a secret society dictating what can and can't be said. it's like what the popular kids used to do in third grade (i was the kid that didn't know how to speak english in third grade. i obviously didn't get to join no stinkin' club).
but i do share Commander's concerns.

Always? How can you always when you've only been here for a few months? And this "Politics Council" has only existed for a short time.

Certainly nowhere NEAR as long as the politics crew. =p
The politics crew doesn't weild any power, by the way. It's just a stamp of approval, so far.

even this topic is arrogant and cliquey. few people like you anymore, slizor, so you made this topic hoping to get some people to agree with you on some irrelevant matter. you want an arrogant clique to look down on other posters.

I thought swayside and Slizor were friends.
Mind you, that's only because both their names start with S, but still.

That society would be the NG Mods, not the Politics Council, but the Mods aren't secret.
Quote of the day: @Nysssa "What is the word I want to use here?" @freakapotimus "Taint".

even this topic is arrogant and cliquey.
Arrogant as I want other people to listen to opinions? Cliquey as I am opposing cliques?
few people like you anymore, slizor, so you made this topic hoping to get some people to agree with you on some irrelevant matter.
Popularity, especially on the internet, is irrelevant. I don't care if I have people's respect or not, as long as they actually listen to arguments.
you want an arrogant clique to look down on other posters.
No there is an arrogant clique which does look down on other posters, which I oppose. If I actually wanted one then I would have had one a long time ago, comprende?
Ted: No, swayside spends his time attacking my posts, he doesn't like my ideas of equality, freedom and democracy. It's a shame really.
