What does everyone use?

Yeah go ahead an call me a newbie if you wish...I still am kinda new around here. But I have a question. I started making Music seriously about 6 months ago and I've always used Magix Music Maker Delux Edition. It's served me well so far. I want to know what other programs people use and how much they would cost roughly if I want to continue making more Music. And what other people would reccomend. ^_^

I use Pro Tools as my main sequencer/editor. Along with a few plug-ins: Reason 3.0, Xpand! (a free Pro Tools plug-in), and I'm about to buy some more orchestral/choral samples to add to my collection.

Many people use Cubase, Reason, FL Studio, and there are quite a few others.

i use windows sound recorder for everything along with a pack of elves who play my synths, harry potter is on drums, merlin on lead and leonardo from the turtles plays bass. God himself sings for me, but because you are mere mortals you are unable to hear his words.

i use what eve ri can get my hands on,

mainly id use

jackson dinkey > behringer v-amp > sovtek mig-60 > zoom hd900 digital recording mixer deck

but, i havent had time to load up and go to my drummers house to record it all live

so i just use various guitars inot the v-amp than inot audacity, and if i need to, flstudioxxl
