I'm also kind of glad Shooting Stars has finished.
Each episode made me laugh but I'd gotten sick of 'Loving you, is easy cause your boobs are new' and 'U-re-ka-ka-ka-ka-carpet burns'.

The entire series was repeated old jokes, repeated new jokes and that joke of Vic's that is only really funny on 8 out of 10 Cats with Sean and Jimmy's beautiful laughs.
Without Angelos (especially) and George Dawes it would of been very bad.

Vic and Bob can do better than this. So I think BBC should just show old episodes of Bang, Bang and The Smell of.

Also, I felt Noel Fielding could of had a bigger impact on this weeks episode. Its a surreal show, it should of been perfect for him.

I can understand why. He could do with a new audience to recycle his jokes for.

Once Peep Show is finished we're left with very few good comedy shows.

I can somewhat see Corden being a permanent host for Buzzcocks after this series. Which is terrible.

Only HIGNFY and QI can save us now.

Corden laughs like a machine.

A bad one.

One that is far too efficient at what it does.
But apart from that not dreadful.

Sounds good.

I am happy about Davies doing another series of Jonathan Creek. This was revealed ages ago though. I used to watch that every Saturday. The one with the body on the stairs made me shit bricks.

Of the names of guest hosts on Wikipedia I can see it going to someone like Mark Watson or Jack Whitehall more so than Corden. Mainly cause his positivity is clearly at odds with the show.

You could probably have Frank Skinner hosting it too, but it seems an unlikely stretch. Though I'd like to see him as a permanent captain instead of Noel.

Rhod Gilbert as host on Buzzcocks tonight.

Unlike Corden, Gilbert is funny.

Is it the one about the Garden of Eden (and N*ggers)? I saw that show at Edinburgh festival.

And the show was miles funnier than Corden's rubbish last week. Wouldn't mind Rhod as a regular host.

Also Frankie is the soul of Mock the Week, recycled jokes or not. It'll be weird without him.

Greg Davies is pretty good too.

But that sketch show he did on BBC3 is rubbish.

True.
I wouldn't be suprised if Ed Byrne got the job replacing him.
And I'd much rather have Frankie recycling material - even though I like Ed, it saddens me when I hear him reusing jokes so often :(.

I wouldn't mind Mitchell full time though :).

£6, but it's half-way through the tour now and it doesn't look there's anything your end of the world unfortunately.

It's sad to hear that Frankie is leaving MTW. Can't really ignore a heart murmur though. Watched Trigger Happy TV for 5 minutes the other day and managed to catch the chap with the gargantuan phone. Oh how I giggled.

They need to get the full seasons of that out on DVD. They've just got "Best Ofs" at the minute.

He wasn't the best person I saw, but I saw Phil Jupitus, so it's not a fair comparison. Going in, I didn't know much about him, but he was still really funny. Better than shitty Stephen K. Amos.

I agree, although he does take over a little, and in the presentation area he always goes up and doesn't generally let anyone else have a go. I forget his name, I think he's called Hugh something, but he usually sits next to frankie, he's my favourite.

also, may I join?

Hugh Dennis, star of the Mary Whitehouse Project, My Hero and Outnumbered. I agree, between Hugh and Frankie, no-one from the other team during SWLTS get a chance really.

£6 is a sweet price :D.
And thankfully there is, Salford = Manchester :).

Not watched that in ages. My favourite fight has to be the one with Henry VIII in it. Also, live at the apollo was on last night. That Shappi girl is pretty funneh.

Dicks, forgot about Harry Hill. Oh well, the series lasts for ages anyway so it's all good.

I vaguely remember her being crap on Mock the Week a few times. Might need some research.
