I liked the numberwang sketch from M&W and I liked the guess the headline bit "T.S.C.P... Tom Cruise Suckles Pig?" from MTW and basically all of it.

Hi. Yeah, everyone. I pretty much did just what I said I wouldn't and messaged Dan saying 'wanna do a flash?' so yeah...

At 10/6/06 12:21 PM, BritishZombie wrote: By the way, with voice acting how would i send it? I could make some recordings, but how would I give them to animator, first time on NG

Well, you save your recordings in Sound recorder. Then you send them to an animator in an email, with your recording file as an attachment. Voice acting tips include not being too close to the mic. That's a big one.

Finnally, What did you like best. Extras, That M&W look or Mock The Weel

I preferred Extras myself. Stephen Merchant plays the agent really well. The bit where the little catchphrase figure was in the BAFTAs was hilarious.

Crikey.

If that was my agent, I'd have fired him ages ago

BBM and gentlemen.... I have an idea for a sketch(es) on the flash.

Basically, inspired by Andy Parsons' line on Mock The Week, we do a series of hair product commercials, but for stupid things, like bald heads, clown wigs, afros and so on. I have a few thoughts on what to put in those sketches, but I'll post them another time... when more ideas have been put forward :)

What do you think?

This is somewhat related too, could possibly be included with the hairdresser theme.

If any of you have long hair, or hang around with friends with long hair (male). Then you'll be certainly know of chavs who drive past you and shout 'Get yer 'air cut' out of the car window as it flies past, boy racer stylee.

Well, me and my friend came up with the theory that its not chav abuse at all. But rather hairdressers promoting their business, and they actually say 'Get your hair cut... at my salon!' But do to the speed the last past is inaudiable...

With a bit of work on it that would be a great idea! The celebrity has to be Phil Tuffnell, though. He does those stinkin' ads.

We could have different people representing a country.

I.E America is a large fat adult, england is a small impressionable child being ordered by america.

Or for the end credits, make a mock news show on what happened in news on that week.

Or where the world is like adults.

Women slips on floor in office,

"I'm with Insure4Yoons and would like to offer you an unbeatable claim. Look vagantly, remember for just £120......

Cut to him been taken away by police.

These are only possibities or things to expand or bounce of off. D-Lucks, should we get writing soon?

I raised the existance of our club with a friend of mine, and she suggested a funny occurance we could parody: When smokers are lighting up, they tend to look down, towards their fag, whether standing or sitting. When walking, they never look where they are going. If there were several of them sparking p at the same time, they would all run into each other. I think that would be quite a good parody. It could be done like an "infomercial" as they do in the Kellog's Crunchy Nut ads, "people are going to extreme lengths to get home...". A similar technique could be used for the "blind smokers".

Whatd'ya think?

We should try and get Ikka/WilliWowza too, he's a good animator. He might be interested. He's offline now, but unless someone can reach him quicker, I'll ask him over MSN tomorrow.

I think we should :) Everyone, post your ideas here, (if you don't want everyone to see them, PM them to either me or BritishZombie, your writers) and let's get cracking.

Well I've been watching Mock the Week for the past few weeks, and I was always a keen fan of Have I got New for You, so what's this Satirical Comedy collaboration then?

Well, essentially, this is a place where we discuss all the great comedy on right now in Britain, but at the moment we're discussing the good possibility of a Flash. So, are you interested in joining?
