I don't understand the way it's refered to as "British Comedy".
I mean, that would imply that Scotland and Wales share a sense of humour with England. It's really the English that carry the famous wit, and we mooch of it.
I mean, take the likes of John Cleese, with all his dry wit. He's the type of guy that people go on about having this superior British sense of humour that the yanks don't get.
I'm sick of people here going on about it like they're part of it. You look at the funniest Scotsman in the last fifty years and it's Billy Connolly - if ever there was a fucker lacking in subtleness! Playing the banjo with a big long purple beard!
British Comedy = English Comedy.
