Conservatism makes us evolve stupid

Yes, it's true. After a bit of research, I have come up with an argument that proves that conservatism is actually making the human race stupider. I give this argument below.

1) Conservatives are more likely to pass on their genes than liberals.

This is due to the conservative baby boom. Basically, conservatives are far more likely to larger families over liberals. Source.

2) Smart people are more likely to get into college.

Well, this is obvious, no? Colleges give out scholarships based on academic performance. If one is smart, then one performs better academically. That is common sense. In addition, colleges are more likely to admit one who has performed better academically. Thus, colleges are more likely to give out scholarships to smart people and to admit smart people. People who are less smart, thus, stand less of a chance at getting into college. Statistically speaking, the effect of this will be that people who are less smart get into college less.

Moreover, smart people will just be more likely to seek out college. After all, education for them is easy as it is easy to learn. Thus they will have more confidence that they can obtain a degree, and they will also have to work less hard for it.

3) College has a liberalizing effect on people.

This is again fairly self-evidence. For one, liberal attitudes increase with education. This has been shown. If that is not enough, check out this source. According to the source, the reasons why education has a liberalize effect on students are

a) Personal traits: temperament, family, intelligence
b) Exposure to information on politics
c) Liberalism of professors

Therefore, education definately has a liberalizing effect on the population. Dont even try to deny this.

To recap:

1) Conservatives are more likely to pass on their genes than liberals.

3) College has a liberalizing effect on people.

First, I make the observation from (2) and (3) that college has a liberalizing effect on smart people more than it has a liberalizing effect on stupid people. Hence, smart people are more likely to be liberal to some extent. Since these smart people are less likely to pass on their genes by (1), we can only conclude that more stupid people are likely to pass on their genes. Thus, stupid genes will inevitably begin to dominate the gene pool, making the human race stupider and stupider.
