Yeah, i got the firmware 2.40 and everything seems to be looking really good. One thing though, the Trophies feature doesnt seem to be up and running yet but i guess it needs some time to update every single PS3 owners trophy list. Have you guys got it yet?

I would recommend you rent some to start. Since most new games and even some used ones are about 30-60 dollars.

I also hear really good things about Uncharted: Drake's fortune, Condemned 2: Bloodshot (I have yet to try it but I've seen the videos describing its development and it is really amazing, same with MSG 4).

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get DMC 4 and Ratchet and Clank Future, because I have the previous games in their respective series, and I have to say, they ROCK!!

I hear the new DMC sucks. I'd love the new R&C to be good but it'll probably be just be "decent"
I say get either Rock Band 1/ 2 when it comes out or Guitar Hero 3/4 when it comes out

This is to Marsupial. The first three DMC games came out on the PS2, 1 and 3 were awesome, the second one sucked shit. The fourth, I've heard, was actually very good, and I've also read several reviews saying it's good as well.

But if I want to get MGS4, should I get the first three games for the PS2?

I have no.2 It's based in a factory kind of plac,, like no 1. youd think its boring but its not. there loooooads of plot twists, boss fights and shit man. great, great game.

no.3 is based in the jungle, its more survival based. great too but I only ever played a demo. worth it Id say

MGS4's storyline is god awful. The gameplay is rather fun, but there is not as much sneaking around as the previous MGS games. I really don't see why this game is thought as such a great game. If you don't care about storylines and you like killing things with beautiful graphics, then I guess this game is for you. Online is fun btw.

DMC4 is easily the most short and simple game ever. It can get horribly boring after a while, running around and such. The bosses were too easy to me, and I think a 6 year old with down syndrome could be pretty good at the action/ fighting aspects. The storyline is ok though and the graphics are great. It's hardly worth buying for the graphics or battles though. I think you could do without the game----or at least leave it at the bottom of your list.
