Really? There's been someone with your name submitting your pictures for the last 2-3 months. probably 70-80 of them submitted by now. The site's down at the moment, so not much can be done about it , but if it's really not you, they'll be deleted as soon as the sites back up, along with the account.

This is excellent.

Your coloured portraits are fan-bloody-tastic. Your use of colour is outstanding; it's almost as good as some of the stuff Matisse has done. The way you blend your blues and greens is just.. wow.

May I ask you a couple of questions?

1) How long have you been working at this standard like this?

2) Have you tried actual painting? Or maybe an oil pastel piece? I think you'd suit the later perfectly.

3) And the largest canvas size you've used?

But yeah. Anyway.

Your coloured stuff is amazing. However, if you're looking to go into realism, you may have to keep on drawing skeletal structures, and the drawing the muscle patterns one them. You can then move onto the placement of fat, and how it lays, which is very advanced for someone of only 18.

Superb ;)

My standard is allways getting higher i hope. I can see a painting i did 3 weeks ago and get embarassed since theres so much stuff i see that i can improve afterwards.

2) Have you tried actual painting? Or maybe an oil pastel piece? I think you'd suit the later perfectly.

Yes of course i have. Theres even real paintings in this thread dude :P

3) And the largest canvas size you've used?

Irl or in digital works?
Irl its 1.5 m x 70 cm, i dont know how much that is in feet and inches or whatever though.
Digital its around 3000px x 3000px i think, just so i can get the details right, then i shrink it before showing it to the world.

But yeah. Anyway.

If your 14 and know this what makes you think i dont know that? I've studied skeletal and muscular bodies for over a year now, maybe not so much as i should, but i do study from time to time, its just so damn boring to sit and sketch bodies all the time. ;P

Superb ;)

Thank you!

Seeing as my Mum studied at the royal college of art, before becoming an artist :P I wasn't suggesting at all that you didn't know it; just that those areas from what I can see, are what needed to be improved. Tbh, not much improvement is needed in it anyway :D

Superb ;)
Thank you!

No problem.

Theme nr 7. "Heaven"

Again, brilliant. The human is fantasticly drawn, and the face / head looks immence :D I'm not to sure that the squiggles of colour above match the white; but then again, what do I know? I'm only 14 :)

Can't wait for your next piece. ;]

Its Nathan Fillion as Capt. Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds from the firefly series, a tv-show everyone should have seen.

Wow, awsome. I love the texture and brush strokes alot :) It looks quite simple but when you look there is loads of detail, nice one. The colours are really good. His face and hands look especially realistic and overall the shading is really good. How big is the real pic? or did you just zoom in loads to get all the detail. Either way its good. Anyway, love the brush strokes it makes it really interesting. Keep up the good work, i look forward to seeing more :D.

i love the geometric shapes in the background. They really counteract the softness of the shading in the figure nicely.
