Link to reasonable size.
I don't think I will, the idea i had behind it was been lost, and it isn't very intresting to me anymore. Another one to the large folder of unfinished stuff i guess :)

Thank you! And of course you can, you have eight years to catch up with me :P
Lineart I've been working on. Damned ex-oskeleton.
And something else I've been working on the last couple of days. Forcing myself to render my images more.

I may very well be judging a little fast here, but I would say I am a little unsure if this is the way to go. Even though it looks smooth and impressive then I think it looses some of that trademark laserkarlistic play with the colors in the light and shadows. It's a nice picture though.

Thanks man!
This isnt really a style I want to work with, its more of a training-thing. I need to be able to do the hyper-detailed stuff if I'm gonna work with 2d though, which i might end up doing in a couple of years if I don't become a 3d animator. I really hope I don't have to do that though. I wanna have the painting-bit as a hobby. :)

The giant bug-thingie again. These lines took forever. Any ideas for what kind of background would fit to this bastard?
And feel free to color in these lines btw!
Whoops. Fixed the middle left leg a bit. Typical.
Woho! 1000th post in this thread.

Sand dunes in the background, troopers for the foreground.
This image is giving me a big Starship Troopers vibe.
Concept for a character for this years final project in school.

really like the detail in the pink hair (previous)
and I really dig the blue glow from the character's ruins.
First real digital painting that isnt related to school this year. Nothing original, just getting used to my new monitor.

Did a new piece.
I'm very torn on this piece.
It's well painted, but I feel like the composition takes away from the image. My eyes are immediately drawn to the black mass in the middle of water, and they pretty much get stuck there. It's unfortunate since that part isn't nearly as rendered out or as interesting of a thing to look at as the guy, who I'm pretty sure was meant to be the focal point.
I don't know. It might just be me, but I personally think the composition would benefit if you trimmed down the bottom part a little more.

Thank you, nice input!
I personaly feel the risk of him not finding land is whats interesting in this image, and thats how i painted it. It's about whats going on beneath the surface. The vastness of the unkown, rather than a guy on a raft. :)
