Why not keep it in current form, and when you click on a rule, it expands with more detail?

That way, people can read the rules, and if they want more details, they can get them, instead of maybe not understanding a rule because they are catered to the people who aren't going to actually read them.

I unno. If I signed up for a forum and tried to be responsible and read the rules before posting, and was hit with a HUGE WALL OF TEXT, I'd most likely say 'fuck that' and never go back.

Beyond that, specifics make it too easy for smartasses to finagle their way into loopholes. Leave it pretty open, and we can catch people doing stuff like linking to an Amazon page with a book with a nasty title name (that's been done, and it was argued that it was a link, and there was nothing in the rules about non porn links.)

That's also why we put the bit in there about the rules being open for interpretation. :)

It makes sense because the more details that are provided, the more inclined people are to say "oh well that wasn't included in the details" so yeah.

i like the new rules, they are much easier to understand the old ones. and i noticed theres a lot of people saying "so we're not aloud to say anything bad about the CC, LL, SS, and IWP", this rule was just made so that there is less idiots on here making threads that say "omg liek teh cloks suk". Now i have a question: i saw that we're not allowed to discuss about ROMs(emulators) and i just wanted to know why. i would appreciate it if somebody told me. :)

Sniping at or knocking established NG groups, such as the Clocks, Locks, IWP.
i didn't think that the ss was a established group (at least not a offical one)

I just can't understand why there isnt a story forum, where we can start all over again and have no fear of being locked. >:(

That's so wrong it's unbelievable. ROMs are illegal unless the copyright holder has waived the rights to it. Which almost never happens, at least with anything you'd want to download.

Yeah. Except GameFAQs/Gamespot don't delete the incredibly retarded story threads/forum games that plague pretty much every board on that site, and don't do shit about serial trolls.

However they do delete obv underage users and asshats very quickly. Which is a good thing.

I think you mods should delete alt threads from now on, like this one. They were funny at first, but now they're just plain annyoying
