I don't think that they had retirement funds back when Shawshank took place.

Were having one at the flat so I had to buy a stupidly expensive costume. Gonna drink myself to death come Halloween to make me feel better about it. Speaking of that, a couple of the guys from the flat upstairs eventually forced one of there roommates out. She was a horrible person and there going out celebrating tonight, along with our flat :D

I hate halloween... It's just an excuse for the bastard children of pikies and retards to egg the cars down my road; and that shit dissolves paint. Think I'll be putting a cover on my car this year.

Also, on an unrelated note, I just went into general for the first time in several months and seeing the "colour / color" debate made me nearly rage quit my life. I'm not going back there again.

Aye, it is indeed one of the worst holidays of them all. However, it does mean it's nearly christmas. Spiderman costume was too expensive so I settled for Jason from Friday the 13th. It looks shit and it was still too much money... If any of you are in Newcastle on Friday feel free to come by the way. Most of my main mates are barred from the flat so I've settled for a few half mates and a girl I barely know who I want to get friendly with under the influence. I probably know most of you more than these people so your all more than welcome to come.

Today I done nothing and enjoyed that fact since I've been working like a bastard for the past week! Only answered the door to a few weans as well actually I dont know how I avoided door duty this year lol. Got the SEGA Master System hooked up so my wee bro is playing some real games, the kind I was at that age. Ghostbusters and Alex the kid.

We had tons of candy left over, which is surprising. Last year we had some left over after handing kids handfuls of candy. It's really odd that we seem to be getting less and less kids each year but one theory is that with all of the viruses running around out there, parents are afraid that their kids are going to get sick. I think that's a load of crap.

The issue is that a lot of kids here in CT are coming down with all kinds of illnesses. We usually get kids by the carload but we've had 2 schools close down and hundreds of kids in other schools are also sick. Oh well! More candy for me (like anyone needs it!). I brought a bag of candy up to my parents' house so that the guys who are working there can eat some of it.

There's something in chocolate that's actually ok for the teeth in moderation but the sugar then messes everything else up lol. But I wouldn't say candy is really good for the teeth. It's addictive :(

Well compared to our stuff. Yours doesn't have as much sugar. When I was over in Canada they had a "British sweetie shop" and it basically sold what we had back home for double the price. I felt homesick so bought a double decker for $3-4 canadian.

The one sweet I do like that we used to get over here are Nerds, they don't sell them over here any more :( And our space dust is crap now also!

It's funny that you mentioned Nerds because I'm going to probably end up sending a care package with Nerds and peanut butter M&Ms to a friend in England.

WTF is space dust? Is that like pop rocks?
