arrrrgh does he really have to pronounce it gooey?!

i don't think the concept is that interesting, besides, if hypothetically apple were to implement it, it wouldn't be worth buying until the second or third release (coming from an iphone user)

I am currently using Notepad++ for fun and I am trying out Java, than I may move on to practicing Ruby and C++. I made a simple Java program, but it won't compile and run properly. How can I write a Java program in Notepad++? If it helps, I use BlueJ at school so I made the program in BlueJ and thought it would work the same way in Notepad++, but it doesn't. Here is the code:

public Info()
{//variables
	String name = "";
	int age;

	public Info()
	{//class
		name = "";
		age = 0;

	public void getName()
	{//Ask user for their name
		System.out.print("Please enter your name: ");
		name;
	}//getName

	public void getAge()
	{//Ask user for their age
		System.out.print("Please enter your age: ");
		age;
	}//getAge

	public void displayInfo()
	{//Display info to user
		System.out.println("Hello," + name + "." + "You are " + age + "years old.");
	}//displayInfo

	public static void main(String[]args);
	{//main driver
		Info program = new Info();
		program.getName();
		program.getAge();
		program.displayInfo();
	}//main driver
}//Info

lol, sorry, Jessii.

I've been programming a little in Java for the past 4 years on and off at school, it's pretty fun :) I use BlueJ at school, but I heard about Notepad++ so I wanted to try it. I am really interested in learning BASIC, Java, C++ and Python.

So in the next week or so, I'll own half of an Events Management Company. Along with carrying on freelancing as a Lighting Designer/Technician.

Hows everyone else doing for themselves?

Second year computer science is a bit hard and I'm looking for almost every excuse to procrastinate.
Also wanted to get hired, almost got there and then saw my schedule and had to refuse a nice offer.

On the bright side, I found myself a team to make games with and hopefully a designer that is going to be as good as I think he is. We're gonna do something along the lines of sim city.

I'm sure it'll be worth it in the long run. And that's pretty cool, good luck with that.

I'm going to try get into Objective C(?) and try write an App for the iPhone.

I was thinking of making one of these so I could talk to myself ^_^ nah Wave has some business uses. I hope to automate many of the office tasks using the underlying technology that makes Wave work. They hopefully they will pay me a bit more for increasing productivity or something like that.

All I want to do is develop some AI to do some of the mundane work for me....So I can work on other more interesting things!

A canny be arsed anymore. Something tells me that would be the battle cry of a neurotic person but a don't think a have that mental disorder quite yet. I wonder if I go into the bank where I have saved up a wee bit of money and asked can I withdraw it all but as pound coins. If they would do that. So I can have a bath in my monies and see if it makes me feel better.

Which it wont, I already know that because I couldn't care less. And it would probaly make me less clean. But ever since DuckTales and Scrooge McDuck??? I thought it would be cool to do.

Aaaand its complete balls when women fuck with your head and thoughts. Here was me thinking I could control that but one got in. Name no names and nobody will know they managed to do anything if they happen to stumble on here.

Women spy in your internet browsing by looking at the history as well as reading all your text! Be forewarned they may seem like they dont know how to work stuff, but as soon as they realise they can spy on you with it they become experts in evidence gathering.

All evidence for the cross-examination of course.

God a need to get shit-faced or have a holiday alone, or both :S

What the hell? That's the least ergonomic mouse I've ever set my eyes on!

Have you tried it? Probably not. It's not meant to be a gaming mouse (like yours) so stop comparing it to one.

Why would you not want an ergonomic mouse? Ergonomic is much more comfortable, especially if you're using it a lot.

That doesn't matter! The important thing is to know whose dressing up as Mary-Jane and what colour lipstick they have! Spider-man only needs to hang upside down from the stairs with the washing line. And we've all done that before!

Currently full-time employed at my company working as a software developer (and our company actually ships a software product, we programmers are not simply there because IT is a 'necessary evil' like so many other places) - 401k, stock options, full health coverage, a pretty good annual pay (well, it's only my first job as a developer so I think it's pretty good,) awesome & funny coworkers, etc.

For a sophomore in computer science @ uni I think this is pretty good. :)

omg.

'Pretty good' is a bloody understatement their! If that's your yearly wage Scottish companies are completely crap, am moving to America!

That didn't sound right either but I'm assuming that he's paid a weekly salary which equals a specific amount. Probably no overtime or anything because it's salary.
