Computer Art is like a field in AI..! Talk about a misleading title lol and yeah any subject where they get you to remember lots is pointless and boring. The only subject it really applies to is a law degree or something where you basically turn into a human google.

We got taught how things work, how to understand formulas and reactions. And what is an explosion in other words a really violent reaction. We even simulated a model grain mill explosion, which was cool!

But I can understand the acid thing. If someone didn't know it was acid and touched it they wouldn't know to neutralise it and so the acid would eat deeper into their skin. Its not a nice thing to have happen to you.

Yeah that sucks, but you know that socialism thing people in the states go a bit mad about ;-) Consider a free education the gift of a socialist labour party. Well their supposed to be socialists but they make a budget every year so it kinda defeats the point. But I'm happy for that and the NHS and I don't get why the states make you guys pay for it. forum I run (fuck yeah fluxbb) has had an influx (lol pun) of spammers recently, first plan of action was to add a feature that when a user reported a post and it met certain criterion it was then hidden for mod verification, then I started building an email wildcard ban feature, which I late found already existed and now I've added captcha, which I really didn't want to do. If this doesn't stop spam, fuck knows what will. Been getting >50 users a day for spam, only about 30 legit :(

It's only been in existence for 91 days so that isn't too bad, hopefully with all these new features it'll pick up. I've been modifying the shit out of it. Members constantly complain that fluxbb is shit, but I really like it for modifying, but the new posts feature does suck massive dong.

Actually, I don't know about the colleges in the UK but I do know that the colleges here are being made out as bad. Most people take 4-5 classes a week (equals about 15 hours) and the schedule is flexible enough that if you want Fridays off or afternoon classes so that you can sleep in the morning you have that option. The experience is what you make of it. If you want it to feel like a chore, it will feel like a chore.

Oh and btw, I'm officially done with school on Friday. I'll be done with the last of my assignments by tomorrow afternoon. Then I'm officially free! :D

Ah cool, you can choose your schedule? That's a HUGE plus for me. I'm not a morning person, and I tend to be a bit of an asshole when deprived of my sleep.

Back online for a little while, had to print some crap off in the library and figured I'd check out what's been happening over here... Very little it would seem. Freshers week is excellent, constant drinking for days on end. Roll on when courses start mind and I can see exactly what Uni's gonna be like for the next three years.

Been an eventful few days, a mate got took to hositpal in an ambulance on a night out, I ran after some chinese people asking for help and they thought I was a mugger. Drank myself to death on my birthday on Saturday, started at 2ish in the afternoon ended at 5 in the morning.

Got stuff to do anyway, I love you all oh so much. Hows tricks people?

Yeah you have to take general education classes. I think it depends on where you go but I think I had to take 60 credits worth. But some of the general education classes will pertain to your major.

And the fact that when I actually have to answer the phoe to customers (not as much since we have a new phone person) I always get English people either arguing with me or calling me a jock (which I don't mind) or plan racism down the phone when they go "bloody forigner" aye to me. Under their breath or right in the middle of a conversation. And theirs me trying to help them when theirs not enough people to answer the phones.....

It's not Friday yet but thanks! And no I won't take a bath because it's not relaxing for me. I'm working tomorrow though and maybe going out tomorrow night, not sure yet.
