eh, how does this site remain profitable? I joined, I now have 27ptz and that gives me enough for a few different games and I can get guitar hero for 100. So after 4 days of doing that game I can get guitar hero for free?

am I missing something?

i've only just signed up today, if you have 20 referals you recieve double points on 'dailies' and 2 pts each, i have 22 points because people don't like to check their e-mails.

i've experimented with swagbucks as well (search engine for points), racking up 191 points, but anything decent here is over 500 points.

heh, I've been on the other end - dealing with running them - which means I steer right clear of them. Sure they're good if you've got the time, but the time for gain ratio really isn't worth shit, you'll spend so much time doing it, referring friends etc you'll never make anything good. running them is very profitable though :D

lol that you've ran one before. i agree though, the time spent taking surveys, verifying e-mails etc, then going to take it again and whatever, they aren't worth it at all.

swagbucks is nice because you do 2 random searches, one in the morning, one at night and you get points, takes 10 minutes tops, takes a few months to get points, but at least i'm not wasting hours.

running one may sound profitable, providing promises and prizes must be such a fun thing to do, too!

They're great if you've got capital and/or have no problems with "scamming" people. The problem is offers take months (literally) to verify, so your member completes an offer and *if* it's successful it takes a good 4/5 weeks to get the money, so you've got to spend out of your own pocket to keep your members happy.

but yeah, if you've got no problems with scamming you can just set up a site, wait a few weeks for referrals and shit, promise great money and then just disappear, it happens so often nobody gives a fuck anymore, good way to make quick £££

Heh, this discussion reminds me of a really funny story.

One of my friends, who is in to scheming, once made this pyramid site. He was selling all this stuff like PS2's, flat screen TVs, etc, for like $25 a pop. He put your name on a list, and when you got to the top of the list, he would send the item. SOMEHOW, people actually went for this. I told him it was illegal and there's no way it can possibly work, and eventually he would get in trouble. And eventually, he did. But it brings back memories :)
