my 22" came with a dead pixel but couldn't be fucked with waiting another few days for it to arrive again, so I live with it :D
how bad is it, though?
my current ihpone has terrible pixel damage, can't wait for a new one.
@sam ryan: If it came with it, and it is under warranty (new products should be) then you should have just sent it straight back and got a new one.
Anyway, I was reading about and found Apple won't usually replace a screen for one dead pixel. So after a little bit of digging I read that by applying pressure to the area of the dead pixel it can sometimes make them work again. I was a little weary of doing this (the MacBook Pro screen is made of glass ... and, y'know, applying pressure to glass doesn't sound like a good idea, I'd end up with a smashed screen again). But yeah I tried applying a bit of pressure to the screen and it now works... try it on your screen?

My MacBook Pro has a 1px dead pixel, but it's so tiny and unnoticeable that I have to actually look for it to find it. Do you have multiple dead pixels, or are you honestly shipping it back to Apple because of one pixel?
Yes I would send it back for one dead pixel. I use my computer for design, both web and lighting, and I need a perfect screen. That's the kind of thing that would really piss me off too.
