Why? It's a new Operating System. This is the equivalent of 95 to 98. It looks the same but is so much different.

thats the whole point if they actually spent more time on 7 instead of speeding through vista then work on 7 we wouldnt have such a shit os as vista

Parents went to a wedding today and are staying overnight so I've got the house to myself (barring my sister). Anyway, she's pissing off till the early hours of the morning and so some mates are coming around for copious amounts of beer and rock band. If at about 8 O' Clock I come online and stay spitting out nonsense you know why :)

Maybe the pre-emptive warning will only see you banned for a few hours, instead of a few days!

I'm liking the look of my living room in pre-party state. If I could I'd leave it this way.

Vista isn't a fuckup, it's a perfectly operational and decent OS. It's just people like you and your stereotypes that give it its bad name.

An interesting thing about vista was the mojave experiment. I've had Vista for one year and I honestly didn't have much trouble with it. No BSOD, everything worked.

The only thing that put me off was that it took a lot of space on my hard drive. I installed it on its own partition and allocated about 24 GB of free space which after installing visual studio and office 2007 were down to 4 GB. Add the swap file and system restore files and bam, I had to take care of the free space, but that was due to my dumb mistake, I don't blame Vista for it.
