But its always a first draft is it no???? You've set it up now that your gonna have to make a kick-ass disign, layout and colour scheme using CSS on the first go or your gonna look a right tit.

Keep us posted when your done!

Firefox decided to delete all my bookmarks, and since I rely on them, I haven't been here for a while.

So...how's everyone doing...

After recent IRC discussions I must say that Dana Carvey is fucking awesome. hesselbom also gets points for understanding references. You can go die Gust.

I usually don't let something as trivial as bookmarks stand in my way :P

So...how's everyone doing...

I'm doing pretty well.. just enjoying the comforts of a nicotine/caffeine-buzz as usual

I wish you could! As long as you can drive, you can do my job! I could be much better though, today was a kind of rough day.

Well, that sucks. I say just relax if you don't have too much to do for a bit. A good nap can't hurt. ;)

Strange how sleep deprivation is a problem in this forum.. I usually get around 4-6 hours of sleep in the weekdays, I always look forward to the weekend so I can sleep some more

Haha, same here. :P I have to be up at 6 AM to go to work... It's 1 AM here. And I'm still not planning on going to sleep. Usually get around 3-6 hours to sleep. On weekends I exaggerate though... normally go around 10-12 hours of sleep, from saturday to sunday. Since I teach flash saturday's at 7 AM, D:

I start work at 0800, which I think is more than early enough, I wouldn't survive if I had to get up before 6 - I think would've gotten some serious braindamage over time :P On saturday I usually get a lot of sleep, but sunday's not that good since I usually wake up drunk. Alcohol fucks up my sleep, but I've found the perfect solution; salty french fries, coke and a b-movie - does the trick every time

meh, one day should be at least 32 hours. 24 is just not enough! I have stuff to do, things to try out, movies to watch, games to play, people to harass etc. etc.

I usually sleep fine but the night before I didn't sleep very well and so yesterday I was not happy. I was also aggrivated with one of my clients because he was being a complete ass (more than usual) the past couple of days. That and my job right now is extremely physical and I'm not supposed to be lifting the amount of weight that I'm lifting, so I'm miserable right now (damn "D" batteries).

Whoever it was here that said to me a while ago,"go with CSS+XHTML" was probaly a few of you a canny remember. Thanks for that. Getting to grips with it back then has helped quite a bit recently. Sved time and gets the results near exactly the same as what was laid out in ym spec!

As for me, drinking, Celtic drew 0-0 against whoever they were playing. Slept on a chouch in a frezing cold house beside another person, so that didney help. Felt like crap most of today, but got the day off work. Am quite shattered, heres hoping a good kip will do me for tomorrows shift!!!

It was even worse today. I basically had to tell the 2 that I was sick of it and didn't want to hear it again or I'll make them sit at the table and do nothing. The one client is very abusive at times (he was an MP for 9 years before he went blind). It's just rough some days.

If MP means the same thing over the pond as it does here why can't he still be an MP regardless of if he is blind or not?

You're an ass, you know that?
And yeah, sleep deprivation sucks. I get like 5 hours of sleep on school days and like 12 on the weekends... yet I'm always half-asleep at school... to the point of where teachers start classifying me as a pothead...

<sarcasm>

And I have Saturday school all the way until mid-November. Woot!

Some days are worse than others.. It helps to be in a position where you can tell your clients that you won't take any more of their crap :P it's worse when you have to keep all your frustration to yourself

Hey, I hear there's a guy willing to compensate whoever will help him develop and finish off his writing portal site. He's got a neat idea for how to cycle the entries and has had programmer after programmer bail on him. He also needs a schema revamp likely and a new color set. If you're interested I think his newgrounds name is Chikunhead? :/

Anyways, its Michael Danton on his site: www.fourthperspective.com

Lots of potential, if it was more user friendly, he'd be able to maintain his population and expand. Used to get a lot more traffic.

Anyways, wasn't sure where else to drop this and figured you guys might have more time/experience for this kind of thing than myself.

It's actually funny because we were talking about this on Wednesday. I don't remember how the subject of guns came up though.
