I had a really bad day today. Well it was just a weird day for everyone.

I went to see a client that doesn't even work on Thursdays (covering for a coworker). Then I went to the bank and everyone was complaining about the day being weird. Then I went to pick up my client from work really early (I realized she needed me there the minute I got there). While we were there, one of the maintenance guys came running upstairs: "bring the mop down to the kitchen, a pot of water fell and spilled all over the floor!" My client's response was "again?!" lol The past week or so she had to clean up 2 spills because the plumber was fixing the dishwasher. So then I got her home, got my mechanic coffee and myself some lunch, dropped the coffee and my car off at the mechanic because my car is causing problems again. I went to my other job and got something done, which was actually nice for a change (I had 4 hours, which was better). Then I went to pick my car up after work and my car wouldn't start. I finally got it and the damn thing stalled down the road when I had just let my foot off the gas (I had gunned it down the road) and when that happened the power steering doesn't work, so I ran down the road and one of the mechanics was waiting for the bus (4 had gone by already lol - funny how he doesn't drive). We jumped in the car and he said it's been a long time since he's had to drive with both feet (had to keep popping the car into neutral).

It was annoying, so my car is still at the mechanic. The owner of the garage lives next door, so if I had tape I was going to write an angry note like "my car doesn't work, fix it already >:(!" At least now I had a witness to what was going on with the car.

I just put new freaking tires on the car too a week ago today. So I'm passing around a tin cup for donations to buy a new car :D

Dont they do remoulds where you live Jessii? If they do get that done as it saves you quite a bit instead of paying for brand new tires. Also a note wont do much. I know mechanics. My friend is one and he tells me what their like. (not all of them mind you, and it might be different where you live) but you have to just shout at them. And dont take any BS :)

2. 2 of my tires were dry rotted and I had driven over a lag bolt that someone mistakenly put in the middle of the road for me to run over.
3. i walked in and one of the mechanics asked when the last time it was tuned up. that was the question of the day lol. it had never been done and my spark plugs needed to be done. it seems to be running now but we'll see what happens when i pick it up in the morning before work (dad's gonna pick me up, bring me to pick the car up and i'll drive to work which is about a mile down the road).

Well that sucks. My aunt once drove over a nail but because it went right in and not at an angle. She could just leave it in and the tire was alright untill she could afford a new one. Also how do you get dry-rot in a tire? Ive never heard of that before.

Rubber dries out after a while and the 2 tires were older than the 2 other tires. So those tires may have been put on 6 months before or something and so instead of wearing down, they just started to rot. I had tires dry rot on me before when my old car sat around for a long time, so the heat of the sun just killed them. My timing belt also dry rotted in the same car at the same time because it was sitting (I didn't have my license then and so the car sat).
