Images are nicer. But with text you can guarentee it will always match the style of your side.

Microsoft was actually first with it, as they suggested it when announcing the Surface a great many years ago if memory serves.

Announced Product != Shipped Product

Multitouch is nothing really that new. Jeff Han (who has demoed multitouch at TED) uses multitouch for his applications to sell to large corporations. Apple are the first company to develop a consumer device (now, several including mbp/mb etc) that use the technology.

Although I'm not quite sure what I'd do with a £5k surface bathtub in my room. I surely wouldn't be able to browse the Internet lying on the couch, or out in the garden for that matter. Also it would be a £4,800 premium more than what I paid for my iPod.

simple & minimal, that's my style.

I've been working like a dog since 8am. And have just got home with the intention of working more :(
Still, hopefully should be out on the lash tomorrow. Got a media exam on Monday mind and was hoping to spend Sunday doing some much needed revision (it's a resit afterall).

Anyone know any full proof hangover cures? Usually after a night out I can do nothing more than lie in bed and make the occasional post.

If you dont want a hangover keep drinking. Although if you leave it too long you wont be able to do this. So dont pass out!

So, barring turning up for my exam with a crate, anyone got any other suggestions? :P

Yeah bread is pretty good, and so is salt apparently but obviously if you eat too much salt you can die/heart problems etc.

hangovers are caused by dehydration and hypoglycemia from the buildup of byproduct from the breakdown of ethanol. drink lots of water before bed, drink lots of water when you have a hangover. all you have to do is replenish your bodys supply of liquids. in the experience of my friends (since i dont get hangovers), if youre drinking liquor, its roughly one glass of water per shot of liquor. i dont know what that equates to with beer. natural sugars in juices can help as well, in moderation.

exercise will also help use up some of the NADH builtup from ethanol breakdown. sooner you get rid of it, the sooner you can reduce the nausea, since being nauseated comes from the inability to continue breaking down the ethanol.

and that "hair of the dog that bit you" nonsense (drinking more alcohol to get rid of a hangover) is a joke, not a remedy. the thought is that if you get drunk, you wont feel hung over.

Interesting, I thought that dehydration was only a problem when people take ecstasy :)

Shame though because I would need atleast a few liters with the amount of spirits I get through. Then the cold wind hits you. Ouch! Saying that though. Cold water dose help in the morning. On my 21st my head was literaly cooking th day after. So I was in the toi8let with my head in the sink shivering while my head was cooling down.

It was wierd, but this explains it. A bloody hate 2 day hangovers

Yes, Ecstasy can cause dry mouth, sweating, hyperthermia (increased body temperature), high blood pressure, insomnia, and more.

In other bad news for Danny, he just got banned. It was for something quite epic though, he posted "first post" in here but it got deleted and he got a ban. Lol.

Anyway, anyone from the UK watch Britains Got Talent tonight? How good were those girls on violin :D plus they were hot. And the dancers that got through were good as well.

Couldn't agree more.

They call it television but I call it crap. The only thing they care about is money and I don't like to see other people earn money while I don't ^^

You clearly have the wrong vocation then; programming is a great way to make other people rich.
