For the luls.

Going with sixthform college, as an art trips. So basically we'll be going out, taking photos and drawing and just taking it easy for a few days. Should be good fun :)

Yeah, I think he posted the picture a while ago, though I'm not exactly sure that he's the one that built it.

Oh and about a glass case, I wouldn't go with glass because it can either heat up, it shows fingerprints really easily, it can break really easily, among other things.

Plexiglass would be better.

Thats why polish was invented :) Plexy glass normaly dose the job. But you should remember you computer fills itself with all kinds of crap. And sometimes its best not being able to see inside it.
Would you want to be cleaning it more than you use it? Just like toes people who clean their cars more than they use them.

Hate sunday drives >:|

Football didnt go to well tonight either.

Only upside is I have a day off tomorrow and I figured out how to recover my logical volume that went missing because I use LVM on my fileserver. eBayed the parts and saved a tone.

Score!

No but plexiglass scratches easily is the point. We have plexiglass for our dining room table and it's all scratched up. Not to mention, you don't want thick plastic anyway, you'll want it light incase you have to move it and plexiglass isn't light unless you get it like 2-3 mm thick.

A know, a know. am just saying. But most of the time a PC wont be in the position to get scrathed especcialy if its the side panel. The only time that would be is if you kept it at your feet or something and wore your shoes all the time.

A carbon fiber case would be quite fun. Light-weight / strong and you can do some decent design work on that stuff as it takes to paint no problem. Expensive though.

Sold on the old Mac today. £100!

Still got the old 19" CRT though.. I don't want it and am willing to give it away if someone can come and pick it up.

Urgh. Vista's Media Center is so incredibly useless it isn't even funny. I have a hybrid TV card, just bought a new one with a hardware encoder, and you can't even easily switch between analog cable and DVB-T. This is bollocks, I say.

Any recommendations for a proper media center?

You DO realize that hacking is illegal, even if it IS a request and its the clients PC. They hacker can still get arrested. Also - I don't think anyone on newgrounds actually knows how to hack. Just wait til you get back to your other parents house.

I wouldn't say that people here don't know how to hack because you have no idea what people around here can and can't do. Hacking isn't necessarily illegal, cracking is illegal and so is launching viruses as well as stealing information. You're only as safe as your security and many companies hire hackers for the purpose of finding holes in security.

Now to ask people around here to hack someone is just one of the biggest no nos ever though.

Ok, what i'm looking for may not even be possible, but i thought i'd ask just to make sure.

I'm after a peice of equipment or software, whatever really, that will allow me to hook my TV up to my computer and watch say a video file located on my computer, on my TV.

Like i said, something like this may be impossible or damn well expensive. Still, i thought it was worth seeing if anyone had any ideas.

If you have asked him for it, and he hasn't given it to you, then you don't need it.

And some friend you are trying to break into his computer, and probably his personal files.
