I've been hanging out at coder profile a lot more lately.

They don't have these rude spammers.

People a quick C question.

What is / is their a difference between this

char[] some_variable

and this

char some_variable[]

Also the same question but with pointers, whould doing it like this

char some_variable*

be any different than doing it like this

char* some_variable

Im using code written by a few others and people are doing it in different ways. So I want to know if their ie any effect so I can write a note to tell people to do it one way or another or explain when to do it one way or the other and where.

Wow IE is such a shit browser, it doesn't store information inputted into fields if you refresh. My mum just lost 3 hours work on an online application form because the internet went down here and the page refreshed. Another triumph for IE.

How aggravating. Have you tried the holy Firefox?

It'll teach you to copy before trying to submit :P

And yes, I'm sure we all agree IE is the worst of the shit browsers. With perhaps the AOL browser a tad worse.

Well I personally use Firefox, but my mum isn't as computer savy as the rest of us. If she attempts it again later I'll tell her to use Firefox.

Also, there's like 100 different text fields, so it wouldn't have been that easy to just copy and paste all the information out.

Fair enough.

And tbh, if the page is set to no-cache, FF won't retain it either.

XD It's odd how so many people get offended when you joke about their mother.

I can't account for other people, but there's some personal shit gone on at home over these last few weeks and I'd appreciate it if you didn't make comments about her.

Going to my Uncle's house again (they had Thanksgiving - didn't go & Christmas - went) because they have the room to do it and some of my family members have been sick and need to stay near the hospital. So tonight I'm cooking dinner, which I'll start very soon because potatoes take forever to cook and then I'm going to bake a coffee cake for tomorrow's brunch :D I just wish I didn't have to go to my Uncle's house because this is the Uncle that I worked for that I just don't like but I get to see my cousins' twins since I haven't seen them yet :D

Was gonna go out tonight but decided against it. The snow put me off.
Instead i invested my beer money on pointless crap. A lava lamp and some old indian scales :| I would have got an excellent looking model pirate ship if it wasn't £95.

I don't really have anything planned. I want to redesign my website, buy a new mobile phone and apart from that not a lot really. I need to do a bit of college work as well - but I don't have any plans. Just going to take it easy and chill out.

Ah! This is my 2nd car. I gave my other one to my brother because it wasn't running right and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to go back and forth to school (or get the car to start cuz it was a 1984 without fuel injection and the carb was screwed up lol). I actually bought the car that I have now @ an auto auction since the car that I wanted was way too much @ used car lots. I've had it for almost 4 years now but it's got a lot of mileage on it now and it's just a matter of time before my transmission goes.

That sucks.

True, true.
New topic, Rambo 4. Anyone seen it? If not, don't.
Fails so badly in comparison to Rambo 1, 2 and 3.

Oh yeah, might as well post something worthwhile, still on the subject of films.
Anyone seen Any Given Sunday and more specifically, this speech? I'm addicted to listening to it at the minute.
