£1399. A lot.. but it's worth it given that you get the best operating system on the market.
No choosing a Vista for me. :-)

I'm not posting in that topic because:
Considering the fact that neither one is a valid IQ test...The only valid tests are given by psychologists. I don't have the patience for the timed test but I've gotten a 135 on the tickle test several times and I've also gotten a 145 on the WAIS-III (valid test but not valid at the time that I took it because of the context that it was given in).
I can give psychological tests and score them (as a matter of fact I have to administer the WAIS-III quite a bit next quarter), but it doesn't mean that I think they're that great. It just gives you a rough idea of where the person is functioning.

What's the idea? I mean the challenges didn't really work (although they were a good idea).
I just got myself a reseller hosting account, not sure whether to offer hosting to NG'ers or not. Don't want to end up like adm :3

What a little baby.
I just re-read the rules like he said, I don't see what we did (other than maybe flame a little). Anyway I'm glad it's locked.
Gargh, help.
I want to incorperate an image into a website, but it's bigger than the content area.
Anyone think of a workaround type thing?
All i can think of at the minute is using lightbox/greybox, but i'd prefer to use something else if possible. Ta :)
Ace, just sold 2 domain names.
iEverything.mobi for $2 - I got it for free.
cyberwall.org $5 - i got it for $3

Nah, just for NG'ers.
I watched a documentary/film last night about some guys that went coast-to-cost across America on a Segway. It was incredible.

What the hell are you doing here? ;/
I'm annoyed. Very annoyed. Every time I try to download a bit of data from the linux install on my PC my modem crashes. I feel like brutally rampaging today. I really do.

Fucks sake.
Why do people HAVE to derail any serious thread? My hosting topic in flash is now full of bollocks about irrelevant shit because of neillS, psycho and some idiot.
Pisses me off no end.

That's why I stayed at what is it, level 9? I love teh glove + barbed wire Icon :)
nah, i think that level 60 looks pretty bling.
Nice people who have Macs that I now envy so much. Im looking to get one for my next laptop.
My main priorities are a long battey (initial interest for getting a mac) but also that it is small.
If only MacBook Air was £1000 cheaper it would be perfect I think. If I could get it in black :)
But since im not going to be affording that any time soon. Could anyone give me a briefe summary of mac stuff?
Like the latest OS / whats coming next / other general things.
Just so I know where to start looking. Much appreciated.
regarding Apple news:
- Aperture 2.0 has been released, with a wealth of new features (photo editing - http://www.apple.com/aperture/features/)
- 10.5.2 has been released, bugfixes and changes ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?
artnum=307109 )
- iPhone SDK expected end of February
- Rumoured MacBook Pro update (given that the Air has new multitouch gestures)
- 10.6 MAY get introduced at WWDC 2008. Not likely to be released this year.

I went out today - was great fun. We found some wheely computer chair dumped on the way home, so instead of going home we took that down some hills and along roads for a while, 2 hours of WHEELY CHAIR FUN. I am supposed to be going out tommorow but i doubt people actually want me there, so i doubt I'll go. They kind of invited me, but not mentioned it again when asking everyone else, so dunnnoooo :)
I missed out on what I'd planned to do though - build my hosting site :3
And Jon, you might want to consider Daring Fireball
as regular reading for all Mac news and views.
> twitter.
It's not for definite. The earliest you could expect a release is next year... Steve Jobs said that he wanted to release on a 12-18 month basis.
