Yeah, that would make creating games a ton easier :)

So, what is everyone's opinion on AJAX?

I think it's a great idea and should be used in places that it would improve the site, but not overused.

I think it's a great concept, NewGrounds uses a lot of it. (Comments, Ratings, Etc).

It's a nice thingy, but certainly shouldn't be overused.

Hey there, people. Over the past few months I have become extremely dedicated to learning C++. I love it, and should be working on a mod project for the game Crysis soon.

Anyway, is there anyone else here that programs in C++?

Awesome. It won't be the same experience as actually being there, I'm sure...they actually like, moved the stage. But it'll still be good.

On another note, any music buffs will love this.

32 gig iPod Touch announced :-)

Given that the MacBook Air has a $1k premium for having a 64 gig SSD, I doubt we'll be seeing it in an iPod just yet. But who knows?

I think its wrong but funny when people say this was "inspired by" and just rip something off but produce a crappier version of it. And I mean anything not just software like books, TV shows, independent films and stuff.

Someone told me about Exit Frame which can be seen listed their on the RantTV site. And it was "Inspired by" The broken which is also listed. Now normaly I dont waste my time or have time to waste. But really I'm what in my 20s and have nowhere as much free time to waste making crap like that.

Not saying RantTV is crap just they couple shows and a few others.

Wow! That's fugly! lol It's quite interesting to look at though, especially because they have the cues for the cattle and all of that mixed into the score.

lol, I know. It's the best mock-music out there. I've seen others that like...draw faces and stuff...but I love how it throws in real music terms, then throws them out the window in pure hilarity. Such as telling you to put your mute in and out numerous times, then telling you to sell the mute. Then there's cues such as "Moon Walk", "Light Explosives", and for some reason, my personal favorite..."release the penguins".

That is...it's funny if you've played any symphony/orchestra music.

Total conversion. The few things I will give away are as follows:

1) Takes place in South America (a locale the CryEngine2 is perfectly suited for)
2) Extremely open game-world (think GTA).
3) Full storyline.
4) Voice acting and original models.

I am learning to play "Clocks" (Coldplay) on the piano, and then I am going to learn "How to save a life" (The Fray). I always wanted to learn how to play an instrument (I'd like to play guitar as well) but always been too lazy, but this year I'm going to learn piano. And a new programming language as well either PHP or RoR because I don't know any backend technologies.

My mum took me and my sister for one lesson (guitar) when i was a kid but when she realised it was gonna cost £20-£30 every week, that was the end of my musical career lol.

Got a shitload of work to do tonight :( Loads of stuff due in for tomorrow and Friday. Would much rather continute programming for a good few hours, but alas. And England are playing :(

I have a 16GB Touch, and doesn't bother me that a 32 is coming out, I don't need one that big. Also it's £329 ($660) whereas the US is $499? What a fucking rip.

Conversation rates suck :(
I remember back in the day when $1 was pretty close to £1.

People from the UK have always been ripped off with this kind of stuff - Apple is not the only one. We pay a premium to live here - is it right? No. Are Apple just going to drop their prices like that? No, they are a business after all. ;-)

Regarding upgrade (NeillS) - you would rather that Apple stood still for a year instead of adding more storage to their iPod/iPhone ecosystem? Weren't you happy with it when you bought it?

Don't suppose anyone knows a little about beer keg's?
I'm looking at buying one, and was wondering about price, and anywhere that sells them along with delivery to the UK.

Ahha you big alcoholic.

I'm sure I've seen those mini beer kegs in shops, maybe on Ebay as well where it's like a miniature beer keg and tap, maybe one of those. Let me see if I can find one online.
