Cool! I've given up on learning flash for now. I just don't have the time or drive :( What kind of site is it?

New site!

www.jacyx.net
If going to that takes you to doodleflash, it is because of your countries DNS hasn't configured it yet. If it does take you to doodleflash, use this instead:
www.knockaround.co.uk/

Tell me what you think.

Those arn't real .html pages http://www.knockaround.co.uk/pages.php?page=n ews

I don't want to reveal much yet except that it's another site based around flash : )

Oh come on, he has just used black and gray, and is it not a compliment, by saying he likes the way your site is made, so he uses parts of it?

If you take a look at the source you can see its a simple copy and paste.

I quote his MSN private message:
"I make my own templates. Jordan steals them. <info@stormxi.co.uk>"
I didn't even steal one anyway, it is a free template at www.freewebtemplates.com

Ok guys, who the hell cares? This is the internet!

Anyway, I hate IE 6 (it fucked up my layout but FF is fine) but I also hate IE 7, I'm not switching to IE 7 because of that. Ugh! I hate web design :( Look at my site in IE 6 http://www.fauxdreams.net, then look at it in FF.

you gonna need to put all your layers in a container with a set width that way the positions of you left and content dont change when you resize the browser, and you are also then going to need to add display:inline; to Left to fix an IE bug.

I hope you can figure that out, and that is actually your problem I have to get to work like...now so im rushed :S

Id think something closer to "N00b with Notepad" =P

Keep trying though.

I did away with the container. I've NEVER had as many problems as I've been having lately. It's pretty damn frustrating. (oh and FUCK the IE bugs! lol I'm just sick of it all, bah! *goes all emo*)

I did, but yesterday i installed 1.5 again because 2.0 is a bit glitchy, and the bugs got annoying after a while.

I like the text and everything, but i think the bottom bit, the "No nonsense, just codes" looks out of place.

Spam- the layout itself is ok but all the harsh greens with black is what makes it look noobish imo. Make the color differences less noticeable and add some grahical elements if possible, and it'll be lookin better

I agree and also make the fonts smaller for certain parts, like your affiliates, it only needs to be a max of 14 px. Anything larger than that and it gets to be a bit obnoxious.

Try these colors: 7DA582 (dark color), A6C7AA (accent color) and then you should be ok. I also don't know about using a black font against the darker color, so you may need to use white instead. You're on the right track, just keep playing with it.

Yeah, i think the layout is okay, it just needs a colour change, a few images added in, some css editing etc.

The CodeDatabase bit is good, but the No nonsense thing looks a bit out of shape.
