I've been uploading a .swf which has 9,64 MB. I was on 8, 8. It has taken me for about an hour to reach that 8,8 megs uploaded.

And then my connection broke and the operation canceled.

First, that pic is of your flash player.
second, Flash 10 was in beta.
Third, I go to labs.adobe.com and it's not on the front page and doesn't show up when I search.

Also, I never updated to XP because of the terrible support for my video capture card (Radeon All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro) so if it required XP you'd be reaching less of an audience.

How about we shoot my ISP instead?

My internet is provided by the University of Manitoba (I'm living in res) instead of this province's main ISp, MTS. MTS has a fast, stable ADSL connection with no bandwidth limits. I loved it.
THIS internet is a shared fucking conncetion, with no open ports, which means it runs slower than dial up at times and torrents are impossible at best.

Yes, it is concidered the standard, as in connections below 56k obviously have a problem with them. But look at the bright side, when the BBS was first invented, internet speed was 300 bits( or bytes, I always forget) per second connection speed. Which basically meant that a post would take a second for every 30 characters to load. Now THAT is slow.

Croatia. No DSL in my City.
