Very nice colours, you get the feeling you're up high sometime in the morning.

Here's a shot of a lighting detail that I found pretty interesting over at Boston CityHall.

Thanks, I've had some pretty lucky shots capturing colour, not bright enough during winter to take any more though.
Your photo is very abstract, you can make out the shape of the building but it can work in more than one way.

I'm thinking about getting a "58 one.

I've got a 1.5m tripod, but it was cheap, not very stable and the clamps are holding anymore. I'd say if you get one you should pay out a bit more and get a better quality one, only problem with the good ones is they weigh a lot.

Thanks! Just so you know, i'm Awesome-o-saurus.
I think in a two/three years, i'll get myself a Canon 7 MP camera.

Right now, I currently have a Kodak Easy share C310 4.0 MP camera.
I think it's good for a newcomer in photography like me!

Do you have any suggestions on how I can be a bit more creative?
I've always liked your clown pictures, they're very original.

Also, what should I be taking pictures of?
I think you've seen alot of my pictures, and they're quite basic, meaning they're nothing that special, so should I be taking pictures of...

- People.
- Objects.
- Outdoors.

Yeah I think one of those pocket size cameras are great to get into photography, because you can snap anything you like and figure out what you prefer taking photos of.

It just depends on what you want to take photos of, don't take images to please other people, just take them to capture what you want to. I really like surrealism, and always have, and taking photos of anything else just bores me, unless it's something very impressive.
I like looking at photos and enjoying the subject then noticing the technical details, composition, lighting etc, I find with surrealism you get to do that.

Unfortunately my photography teacher is telling me to expand my work to other areas, because I need to present a range of work to get into uni, but I'll just try and do his crappy photos along with ones I like.

No, I don't, I only really post my photography on here and Deviant Art.

I've tried getting into Pixel2Life but there's something about it I don't like, it seems too strict. If you find somewhere decent you'll have to let me know, because everywhere I've found has either too many members, isn't bothered in photography, or the community doesn't talk, they just post their own work and nobody critiques anything.

Very nice photo though, composition is great.

Macro! Cool, it looks a few feet high to me, kind of reminds me of a vending machine. I like the colours, red white and black always look good.

Very nice, and even better considering it's you first camera, what camera is it?
You've picked up a lot of texture in this, the veins on the leaf are fantastic, so much detail in something you just walk passed without noticing. Only thing that I don't like is the stem going out of the frame, but what you gonna do?

Where did Doodler go? He hasn't been around for a while now..

Thanks for the comments!

It's a Nikon Coolpix L3, nothing special for $150, but to start with it seemed pretty good.

Here's another one, I liked the silhouette of the trees.

It's for a school assigment.

I didn't touch it because I don't know anything about editing photos and I'm afraid to ruin it. Anyone got tips? I'm talking about changing the brightness, contrast, gamma etc.

I dont ever touch up my photos except borders, it just shows how the picture was taken in its originality.

Anyways nice photo.
