hmm... You might want to try experimenting with shapes and figures... That's often how good looking logos came out.. open flash and just mix up squares or circles, any types of stuff... I believe cartoonsmart has some good tuts on logo-making...
Also, shading, and experimenting with colors is also a good thing to know about.. Try those things, remember logos IS (believe it or not) often pretty hard to make...

Also, if your using flash 8, then a few filters can often improve a logo heaps.
Just dont go crazy with them, or your logo will look worse not better.

That's right.. Don't overdo in filter-using.. And sorry if i'm spelling things wrong now and then..

It was originally made in flash, but I saved it in PNG Format and edited it on photoshop

I usually use the line tool and circle shape tool on flash, and I mostly make my logos circles because its easier to make.
